Yes it does that here to but it puts the wrong e-mail address in the to

Would it be possible to make the list switch the e-mail addresses around so
the senders e-mail address be displayed first?
I bet that would fix the problem.

Is there any easy way to reply to sender with windows live mail and jaws
12 on an win 7 machine?
The way that I just accomplished was to have the message open then under
tools start to add to contact list. I could then read the email address.
I could not select and copy but was able to remember the address. Then I
opened the message and did a reply I cleared the group address and typed
in the address that I wanted. There must be an easier way.

The script worked perfectly in 7 and also 9. I have the 9 script on the
server and if you can replace your current script with what is up there
that

should fix the problem. I placed the script from 9 in to version 10 and it

Hi David. I'm checking to see if this goes only to you. Also, below is a
note I received from FS yesterday when I wrote to them about our list
problem. I also reported it twice on the beta form, which apparently no one
saw.

Dear Becky:

Thank you for contacting Freedom Scientific Support.

This is the first we have heard of this issue with JAWS 11. What lists
are you referring to? You might want to call our support hotline at
727-803-8600 and show us. We really need more information.

Where is this problem occurring?
What operating system?

Did you merge previous JAWS settings from an earlier version?

Please try the following.

Remove your JAWS settings and restart JAWS.

To set JAWS to the defaults:

If you are using any third party scripts, back them up first.

1. Press the windows logo key to open the Start Menu.

2. Press the letter P for Programs or go to the all programs sub-menu.

3. Press the letter J till you come to the JAWS version you are looking
for and press enter.

4. Press Enter on Explore JAWS.

5. Down arrow to explore my settings and press Enter.

6. Press control+A to select all settings then hold down the shift key
and press the delete key.

7. Restart JAWS.

Please call us and show us this issue.

Thank you.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact
us.

Thank you for choosing Freedom Scientific!

If replying to this message, Be sure to include all previous
correspondence pertaining to this issue so that we might more quickly
assist you.

[JAWS-Users] reply to sender script from jaws 8

2008-02-11 Thread David Ferrin
I've placed it up on the server with instructions on how to install it. This
fixes the bug that currently exists with the script in 9. So far though this is
the only issue I have with 9 so that's not too bad in my opinion.

Hi Denny
When you said it works did you actually send a email? That's where my
problem is, outlook express does not recognized the email address and puts
me into the address book to add a new contact or go to contact list for a
name.

Scott

Re: [JAWS-Users] reply to sender in Jaws 9

2008-01-31 Thread Denny Huff
I changed my hotkey to alt s and it works good.
Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express?
If not, maybe there is a conflicting hotkey in the email client you are
using.
