Hi,
David Faren has put the instructions on the help page. The instructions for
everything you need to do is in a file by Jim Flusch. If you can get that
file, you will know step by step what to do. It is a One Drive link that is
on this user website. See if you can find it on the website
www.jaws-users.com/help
Also, I am sure that someone else will give you directions to get to
everything you need to know in this One drive link that is right on this web
site for this list.
You can do this without any sighted assistance. You will have no problem
upgrading, and as a win10 user myself, you will never look back. There is so
much good of having win10 that is much better for you than win7.
Take care, and I hope you can get a hold of that One Drive link on the web
site very soon and get started. Congratulations for upgrading. You will love
it.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Windows 7 to Windows 10 conversion and JAWS

I recall some discussion about what was necessary to get JAWS up and running
when transitioning from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I'm in the process of
upgrading a Windows 7 laptop to Windows 10. Currently, I have JAWS 16 on
the Windows 7 machine and I know to upgrade that to the current build of
JAWS 17, but do I need to do something with authorizations or removing JAWS
and reinstalling it? I don't remember the advice given earlier.

Thanks for your help.
