You know, I haven't been reading this thread, but I hope this helps -- I know I'm assuming here. I'm using XP SP3, JAWS 14 and Outlook 2003. I wasn't able to copy from messages either, so here is what I did. I went to the edit menue, clicked on edit message, and then I was able to cut and copy text to the clipboard. A bicycle can't stand on its own because it is two-tired. Have you done a Compact All Folders recently? OE does it after every 100 closings. In outlook Express, from the message list, manually, it's alt-f, f f. Or you could empty the Delete BXD folder in OE. control shift o To options go to the Maintenon tag tab down to store folder... and enter find the storage pass and copy to clipboard win key r Paste in run box Arrow down to delete.bxd and delete it. Ok, then that may eliminate the Jaws 14 update. But, have you tried another screen reader, or a pair of eyes to see if you can copy-and-paste sans screen-reader? If you don't have a demo of a competitor, which you really should at times, hit your run command and type www.satogo.com and follow the instructions. I am now at my work computer. I un installed 14 then re installed it. I am now receiving messages and the password that was not being accepted is now working. Go figure. I'm excited to get home and see if the same thing allows my O E to copy messages. Oh no, I just checked here and , on this computer, at work, I am not able to copy the message. I wonder if there is just a coincidence with the password issue, copy issue, and JAWS update.
