the easiest way is,

1, in windows live mail,
you need to export your contacts as a CSVFile,
once this is complete,
you then can go to outlook and import from the CSV file you just created.

David, that seemed to fix it. Why, I wonder do I have to do it that way. I
used to just arrow up and down between folders, and now gthis way of going
to the folders, made it possible to open the folder and the unread messages

to-do-bar set to off, Also in the view menu, In the toolbar sub menu,
Standard should be checked, Also in the view menu, Make sure the status bar
is checked.
