Re: [JAWS-Users] help with internet explorer on task bar
Hi Zoe, If the only window or tab which Internet Explorer has open is the Downloads window, then if you move to that button on the taskbar and press Shift + Enter, a new instance of internet explorer opens. For more info about the taskbar buttons on Windows 10, see the taskbar buttons section of this guide: http://vip.chowo.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/jaws/Taskbar-10-Guide.html David. original message: Hi everyone I need some help please. I tried to access some sort of file tab to find an option to open a new tab but no such luck. Any ideas? I hope I've explained my situation properly, and I hope I haven't confused you guys too much. Ok, I just tested it lol, sorry. I went to the mods site here and just downloaded a random program. I closed the jaws-users programs page, the download was still showing but CTRL t did nothing. Just ignore my last email. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Adrian Spratt Sent: Wednesday, June 8, 2016 9:19 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] help with internet explorer on task bar Looking over your steps, I wonder why you close the main IE window before the download has completed. Sometimes doing so can interrupt the download, which happens, for example, on the BARD website. Besides, if you plan to continue using IE, you could resume from that window. Kimsan's control-t from the downloads window might also work, but I haven't tested it. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of zoe fiogkos Sent: Wednesday, June 08, 2016 8:54 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] help with internet explorer on task bar Hi everyone I need some help please. CTRL t is the command to open a new tab. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of zoe fiogkos Sent: Wednesday, June 8, 2016 5:54 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] help with internet explorer on task bar Hi everyone I need some help please.
