[JAWS-Users] restoring from recycle bin
Thanks Mike and Adrian Re: [JAWS-Users] restoring from recycle bin Hi Anna, If you ever accidentally delete something, & want to retrieve it from the Recycle Bin, you can get it this way as well: open the Recycle Bin, & highlight the item you wish to Restore 2. With the item highlighted, open the context menu with the Applications key or Shift + F10, arrow up / down to, Restore, & press enter. The item / folder / file will now go back to wherever it was deleted from. Take care. Mike Sent from my iBarstool. To be clear, I infer you got the message to the effect, "Access denied. You need administrator rights." Something like that. Like you, I just press spacebar on the OK button and, lo, I have administrator rights. It seems like one of those extra steps with which Microsoft torments its users. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [ mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of anna vimini Sent: Monday, May 08, 2017 1:55 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] restoring from recycle bin I accidentally deleted the Mozilla Thunderbird icon from my desk top and when I went into the recycle bin to restore it it said something like this action denied to public desk top continue with administrator rights to activate press space baror something to that effect so I pressed space bar was this the right thing to do ? well any way the icon is back on the desk top For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
