Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS and Citrix
Adam, Until I retired in 2014 I used CITRIX to connect to the Company's Computer systems. I would recommend you look in the JAWS Help Topics and look at the Remote Access Book, also let the Company's IT staff look at it. A version of JAWS Pro must be installed on the Company's Server. If I remember the System Administrator had to do the install. Just wondering if anyone on the list has experience of using JAWS with Citrix? This morning I took delivery of a new PC running JAWS 17 Professional but I'm struggling to get my head around navigating Citrix. Many thanks in advance. Two things: 1... If you are ever in a position to choose the platform, one of our fellow list members said that WebEx is much more accessible. 2... Please notify Citrix customer service dept. if only a tiny fraction of disappointed JAWS users alert companies to access issues, there is no business reason for them to upgrade their products. Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS and Citrix.
You don't need another Jaws license for the server, also you just need one remote access license for both the server and the client. You must be running Jaws pro! Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS and Citrix.
When I was looking at this I was told I could install a demo version of JAWS on the server as it just needed some dll files to run from your connection. And you only need the license on the client computer you are connecting from.
