I use it a lot of the dictionary purposes, seems to be very good with not
just a definition, but gives sentence examples, word origins, even other
words pertaining to same meaning what is that called...synonyms, is it?

Just make sure that the focus is somewhere on the word before doing this
command, you can copy and paste this info if you should need to do so.

Hello Jorge,

Research It is a feature that is part of Jaws for Windows, so
there's no need to download any additional program. I believe
that it was first introduced in Jaws 13, so if you have this or
any newer version, it's part of the package. It is a feature
which allows you to check the weather, flight schedules, use Ocr
scanning for various images and documents, convert currency, and
quite a few other functions which I can't remember off the top of
my head.

Hello Nick,
What is Research It?
Is it an application you have to download or a website?

This tread has been around a long time.

Finally I got interested, once I saw you used a jaws command to
open it.

I believe any command that uses the insert key.

Thanks,
Jorge

Hi Beverly,

To launch Research It, press Insert plus space. You will then
hear two
clicks. At that point, hit the letter R, and Research It will
open. I hope
this helps.
