Tom, the laptop key strokes are in your help file.
go to the jaws interface with insert J  and H for help, then down arrow once 
to help topics, open this with right arrow and down arrow to key strokes, 
open this and you will see the laptop keystrokes along with others.  Use F6 
to read the topic.

Go under your jaws helps, alt h,  and arrow down and you will find
keystrokes for the desk top and lap top

when you swith to the laptop layout with jaws, the jaws key, insert key 
is the caps lock key.

Get yourself a wireless one that is full size as for desktop, it's what I 
use with my laptop, all the keys are the same as for a desktop keyboard, and 
wireless just makes it more handy. I've taken mine in a suitcase on the 
bus..plane..thing is indestructable,lol
You get a little plug goes in a USB slot on your laptop. Mine is a Microsoft 
wireless keyboard purchased from Amazon for around $40
It uses 2 double A batteries.
