What version of Revo are you running? If your Mozilla is a 64 bit version, &
you're running an older versionof Revo, the older versions of Revo won't show
64 bit programs.

First, why isn't it showing up in Revo?
Not to be stupid, but let's get the first possible issue out of the way …… you
do know, that when it displays a list of programs it can uninstall, that that
list is displayed in a form that is several columns wide. So, if you go to the
left most column (where you start when you start the program), and arrow down
to where you hear programs that might start with L or M, then if you use the
right arrow, you'll see more programs that begin with that letter. So, unless
you knew that, there are well more programs there than you'd initially see.

Second, when you are in the program list, at least on my Windows 7 PC, you can
type the first couple letters. In other words, if I wanted to uninstall
Firefox, I'd type M O. The Revo Uninstaller would display "Money Talks"
which is the money management software from APH. If I then right arrow once, I
am on my version of Mozilla Firefox that I can uninstall.

First, why isn't it showing up in Revo?
Not to be stupid, but let's get the first possible issue out of the
way ……
you do know, that when it displays a list of programs it can
uninstall, that

that list is displayed in a form that is several columns wide. So, if you
go to the left most column (where you start when you start the
program), and
arrow down to where you hear programs that might start with L or M,
then if

you use the right arrow, you'll see more programs that begin with that
letter. So, unless you knew that, there are well more programs there
than

you'd initially see.

Second, when you are in the program list, at least on my Windows 7 PC,
you
can type the first couple letters. In other words, if I wanted to
uninstall

Firefox, I'd type M O. The Revo Uninstaller would display "Money Talks"
which is the money management software from APH. If I then right arrow
once, I am on my version of Mozilla Firefox that I can uninstall.

What version of Revo are you running? If your Mozilla is a 64 bit version,

show 64 bit programs.

2015-08-01 Thread Elaine

Hi

my apologies if this has been mentioned before, I bought the full version
and admitted i'm using jaws 13, but the program wouldn't work with jaws,
yet, the free one did perfectly. I emailed tech support and they admitted
the full version wasn't accessible to jaws users. so I asked for a full
refund on those terms.

Thanks

The desktop version installs onto your hard drive, creating a program file,
and registry entries, while the portable version is contained on a USB flash
drive, and installs nothing onto your computer. Try it and judge for your
self how one compares to the other. I have found that the portable versions
of some apps do not perform as well as the desktop versions.

line. Wow, are they both helpful pleasant. Anyway, I had
attempted to uninstall Turbo Tax 2014 deluxe as I needed a
different version. The uninstall became corrupt. So, I then
tried the Revo uninstaller Mike had talked me into trying
last week. Same thing, it reported the program corrupted
and would not install. I tried a repair as well as an
install again all to no avail. So the first thing Microsoft
did was install Revo uninstaller professional. This can be
used free for 30 days but then you need to purchase the
license. The pro version did the trick. So, there must be a
few differences between free pro. Just wanted to pass this
along.

Hi Hareth and Mike,
Thanks for your responses to my dilemma. Hareth, I experimented with both of
your suggestions, but had no luck with either one. Since I still have more
than 20 days before my trial expires, I'm going to do some more
experimenting in the hope that I'll somehow get the knack of it. Just a
question, when I click on the program to view, list doesn't appear. Why is
that? If I can't get it within a few more weeks, guess I'll have to join
you, Mike and just forget about it. It does look like a program I would
really like to have, though. Again, thanks to both of you.

 Hi,
Does anyone on this list use Revo Uninstaller Pro? If so, does it work
 well
with JAWS? I just downloaded a trial version, but can't get it to work
 with
JAWS. I hope this is not ot, but I just don't know where to look for the
info. I'm running latest version of JAWS 14 on a Windows 7 64 bit
 computer.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. BTW, if this is ot, please contact
 me
 off list at: jolul...@verizon.net. Thanks.

 Hi Hareth,

You I had 2 totally different experiences with Revo Uninstaller Pro. I
couldn't get it to work no matter what cursor or keystrokes I used! Now, I

wonder since you have had a good experience with it if I might have had
something as simple as a bad download or something! Maybe, I'll try it
again but, it might be a while before I do.
 Take care.

 Hi,
yes, u can use it with jaws, but u need to use the root jaws to pc curcer,
and set the view of the programs as a list
via left clicking (view) then (list)
so yo can after that go around your installed via the normal way and
when you want to uninstall any of them just focus on it and root jaws
to pc, go to the top via ctrl+home key and keep pressing on the ctrl
key and via arro keys find (uninstall) and from there it would be
more easyer to finish the job,

 other way to use it:
go to the directory of the installed program or software, like
c\program files\etc and and press the applacation key on the wanted
folder of and choose the uninstall with revo uninstaller,

and u need to know if a program asks for reboot the system skip it
