Hi Govan,

Well, likely this page is a bit outdated and implies SVN.

I am little confused. should I fork the repository and after translating
> create a pull request or should I commit to repository when I am a comitter?

Yes, it would be the best way now.

Best regards,
Oleg

Contribution to translations Swedish

2016-09-02 Thread govan.m
Hi Jenkins developers!
I am a Java developer and a Jenkins user. Recently I have some extra time
and I am planning to help Jenkins to be even better if I can.
I am new to open source so I thought the best way would be to begin with
translations and documentation.
I want to translate Message.properties to Swedish.
In Internationalization page
I could
read:
*"The Jenkins project always welcomes contributions to translations. If you
are interested in helping us, please drop us a note on the dev mailing list
 so that we can
give you commit access."*

I am little confused. should I fork the repository and after translating
create a pull request or should I commit to repository when I am a comitter?

Thanks for help
//Govan
