Re: [JPP-Devel] Translation to Czech
Hi Jan, One of us (Stefan?) will commit it for you. I see you have already posted a link to it. We normally update the language translations before each release of OJ. Are you going to handle any future translations? regards, Larry Becker 2010/3/22 jan.ruzi...@vsb.cz Thank you, I know how to run OpenJUMP with Czech locale, this is not the problem. I probably did not make myself clear. My question was about how to put the new translation to official 1.3.1 distribution to be available for all users. I know that they can download OpenJUMP 1.3.1 from my web page, but not all of them know about that page. (2) Tell the JVM running JUMP that you want Czech to be your default Locale. I think you can accomplish step 1 by putting the properties file in the lib folder of your JUMP installation. Hei Jan, you would - rename the workbench jar file to *zip - unzip the workbench jar/zip file, - add your file to the language folder. - then re-zip it and rename it to jar. that should be all. need to check if we have that info on the wiki. Re: [JPP-Devel] Translation to Czech
Thanks for the correction Stefan. I looked for the language folder in the OpenJUMP install, but I didn't realize it was contained in the JAR file itself. I wonder if it would be easier in the future to make it an external folder like bin or lib.
