The titlebars only go below the windows if they are maximized/tiled. Then merge then modify the window decoration color/opacity/size with the that of the top panel. That way the user only interacts with the actual titlebars, not with the panel. This bug report is very old, and I have moved on from slackware about 3 1/2 years ago. I still use Gwenview although on Mint now (Gwenview 4.14.0 pre / KDE 4.14.2) on Mint Rosa 17.3 I still fgind Gwenview inefficvient on directories with large amounts of files, especially when opening/browsing folders on my Freenas server. Thumbnails are slow loading and while this is happening Gwenview is very unresponsive and slow, often needs to be killed or wait for several minutes until it becomes responsive again. I wouldn't want to sound rough but the search system, when works, it shows just partial results, sometimes it doesn't work at all so that I ended up replacing search with filter, which is a good compromise most of times. At the same time we have KFind (which is great), it supports all sort of advanced search options, always finds every possible result and, most important, I never seen it crashing. I was wandering, did anyone contemplate the the idea to truly integrate it into Dolphin? But it is still not such a convinient way of identification, because you need to read display name, remember it and then compare it to names of displays that are shown in the configuration area. I would like notification like in mac os. When you hold a mouse on a display in the configuration area, it becomes surrounded with red frame and also a red frame appears on entire display. It is very easy to identify displays visually. Or that the client is a wayland one, given that I'd assume XWayland clients still have a basicUnit?
