[kde] [Bug 415162] New: Title bars move off-screen after closing full-screen app
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415162 Bug ID: 415162 Summary: Title bars move off-screen after closing full-screen app Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Debian testing OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: david.cortes.riv...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- After launching some full-screen game, all windows in my desktop are repositioned such that the window title bars (which have the title and -+x buttons) lie outside of the visible area - that is, they are moved to e.g. the top of the screen, up to the position in which the title bar gets cut off, and will show up again when dragged a bit down. Steps to reproduce: - Launch several applications with non-maximized windows, position them around the desktop. - Launch some full-screen application with the same resolution as the desktop (e.g. FreeDoom). - Close said application. Expected behavior: application windows should remain where they were. Actual behavior: application windows move a bit off the screen, right at the position in which the title bar is not visible anymore. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415159 --- Comment #3 from Tom Hughes --- Well yes they will all spin off children because rustc is a separate program to cargo - it's like tracing make and it not following over the exec when it runs gcc to do the actual compile. I tried running `cargo build`, `cargo rustc`, and `rustc`, but I think they must all spin off children because `--trace-children=yes` seems to work! Perhaps valgrind could detect children and add a warning pointing users to this flag? Otherwise it can be quite confusing why there's no output whatsoever. [1] https://github.com/libratbag/libratbag "libratbag provides ratbagd, a DBus daemon to configure gaming mice. The daemon provides a generic way to access the various features exposed by these mice and abstracts away hardware-specific and kernel-specific quirks. libratbag currently supports devices from Logitech, Etekcity, GSkill, Roccat, Steelseries. See the device files for a complete list of supported devices. Users interact through a GUI like Piper." [2] https://github.com/libratbag/piper/ "Piper is a GTK+ application to configure gaming mice. [kile] [Bug 330571] LivePreview window does not realy fit beside the editor window on vertical screens
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=330571 --- Comment #1 from Przemek Tomczyk --- For vertical monitors, besides live preview, also left sidebar with structure view etc. at the bottom would much improve usability. Even simple boolean flag "Horizontal/Vertical" layout would be a huge step in right direction. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[konsole] [Bug 415147] New: Turning on blur background in konsole under wayland displays the blurred content next to the actual window
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415147 Bug ID: 415147 Summary: Turning on blur background in konsole under wayland displays the blurred content next to the actual window Product: konsole Version: master Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org Reporter: garaba.flor...@protonmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 124476 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=124476=edit Image of the bug SUMMARY Turning on blur background in konsole under wayland displays the blurred content next to the actual window STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start plasma under wayland 2. Edit konsole's current profile to enable background blur and set some translucency OBSERVED RESULT A new rectangular region appears next to the window with minor overlap with the original, blurring the content underneath it. By moving the window around, the blur region moves by a different amount, so it is likely to be due to some offset error. Maximizing the window results in the desired effect. EXPECTED RESULT Blurring should happen 'under' the actual window SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.65.0 Qt Version: 5.13.2 Konsole Version: 20.03.70 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
