https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415150 --- Comment #19 from Piotr Mierzwinski --- > So in System Settings > Displays & Monitor, you always see your projector > listed there even when it's unplugged and turned off? Yes. If projector is connected (in my case by HDMI) and turned off I can see it in System Settings > Displays & Monitor. Of course firstly was detected correctly by plasma, only doesn't disappear when I turn it off, which is happen in Windows systems. Some workaround for this is just disable projector in System Settings or by command "xrandr --output HDMI2 --off" and of course when I need to use project then I need to activate this screen in Plasma (manually) or let Plasma detects it again. > Can you mention the bug report you filed? [frameworks-kxmlgui] [Bug 415150] Save window positions
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415150 Piotr Mierzwinski changed: What|Removed |Added CC||piotr.mierzwin...@gmail.com Resolution|FIXED |--- Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED --- Comment #17 from Piotr Mierzwinski --- I wonder if this option is turned on by default and if we can switch it on/off? Considering your last commit I'm afraid not. In this moment behavior of appearing windows in my KDE/Plasma looks like below: Following option I have turned on: "System Settings -> Windows Behavior -> Advanced -> Window placement: Under mouse" and it is fine for me. Please consider I don't need to window position would be always saved, rather I would prefer only to be saved its size. I think your improvement is not safe for me, and probably for others who have similar displays configuration. Below please find my explanation. I have multi monitors configuration. Both displays are always connected, only the second one is turned on occasionally - just because this is projector. Unfortunately Plasma sees it always as available (separate bug report I sent), even device itself is turned off. I suppose this is happen because xrandr returns always both displays as connected, what is truth of course, but the issue is that one of them is turned off. In result any window placed there will be not achievable normally. Without option I described on top one happened that some windows appeared sometime on this not visible, but connected screen, what of course was the problem to achieve them. I'm afraid that with your improvement If I will close any window placed on projector screen and at the next day when I will have projector turned off and I will run the same application then it will appear on desktop placed on not visible screen, so window will be not achievable normally. That's why I wish I had an option to be able to choose if want save position and size or only position or only size. Would be nice to have such. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 425683] New: krita keeps freazing when i make one brush stroke
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=425683 Bug ID: 425683 Summary: krita keeps freazing when i make one brush stroke Product: krita Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Other Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: Brush engines Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: wonej...@mail.csuchico.edu Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY So I have a art project i'm drawing at the moment and when I try to use my texture brush krita freezes for a couple seconds and say it wont respond. I have a ton of layers but my past pieces had more layers on them and no problems were had during those times. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. have a ton of layers with different types of textures 2. scale should be around 3000 3. OBSERVED RESULT the brush just stops mid stroke EXPECTED RESULT It should be able to fully stroke with the brush SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 330356] Panel auto-hide stops working after using desktop for a while.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=330356 Holger changed: What|Removed |Added CC||private_l...@yahoo.com --- Comment #33 from Holger --- Created attachment 131102 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=131102=edit pin the notifications The only way so far I could force the panel to stay unhidden is by pinning the notifications. Then switching desktops, the notifications stay behind on the first desktop. But the panel refuses to hide on the second desktop as well. This will cause the tray-area to have a highlight as a visual clue, that one of the tray-icons is the reason the panel is kept open (you can check how the visual clue looks in your design by opening / closing the notifications). Otherwise I can only second the suggestion, to provide some debug command for asking all the panels to dump the reason why they think, they have to be visible. And if the smoking gun is in the hand of the taskmanager, it should itself blame the window-title and process that makes him in return request attention. Otherwise I hope for bug 394119 to alleviate this by allowing to dismiss the panel on mouse-over. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 425682] New: Hazardous Rotation with keyframe and Rotation effect
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=425682 Bug ID: 425682 Summary: Hazardous Rotation with keyframe and Rotation effect Product: kdenlive Version: 20.08.0 Platform: Appimage OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Effects & Transitions Assignee: vpi...@kde.org Reporter: cgir...@free.fr Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When a Rotate effect is set with 2 linear keyframe, hasardous rotation is set after last keyframe. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a new empty project, with 1 color clip moved to timeline. 2. Add a Rotate effect. Keep 1st keyframe to 0 X rotation and add a 2nd keyframe somewhere with 300 X rotation. 3. Look at rotate effect along the color clip (between 2 keyframes, and after last one).
