[dolphin] [Bug 430994] cannot copy files (errno: 5)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430994 --- Comment #6 from Grayson Penland --- Huh. So it sounds like the file may be corrupt or you have a bad block on the hard drive according to the cp output. httpss://superuser.com/questions/110576/cp-reading-filename-input-output-error-why That would explain why you had issues with re encoding the file and losing part. What that DOESN'T explain is why VLC played back the full file. I do think though that we can pretty safely rule out dolphin as the issue, if cp too failed. I am new to the kde bug tracker, but can we close the issue now? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 430925] Crash When Deleting Texture
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430925 tomw.82...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||tomw.82...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from tomw.82...@gmail.com --- I was able to duplicate this bug... The crash occurs before a log is created. Below are some details found during debugging: A segfault occurs inside the call to setCurrentItem() within KoResourceItemChooser during texture removal. The row/col indices being passed in appear to be valid. The segfault generally happens on a different thread, so the issue could be concurrency-related. Commenting out that line (239) avoids crashing Krita but leaves nothing selected after deleting a texture. Just wanted to document these findings in case it helps a dev address the root cause. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 430949] digiKam-7.2.0-beta2 (macOS (DMG)) breaks existing local MySQL/MariaDB instances on upgrade
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430949 --- Comment #30 from Hackintosh HD --- (In reply to Hackintosh HD from comment #29) Problem partly solved by a workaround: I did a ~ $ sudo mkdir -p /opt/digikam.org/share/mariadb/ && sudo cp -p /Applications/digiKam.org/digikam.app/Contents/opt/digikam.app/Contents/share/mariadb/english/errmsg.sys /opt/digikam.org/share/mariadb/ to get around digiKam 7.2.0-beta2's obviously missing / not found localized message resources as indicated by the error message in my comment #29 above. Committed on 31/12/2020 at 17:51. Pushed by alex into branch 'master'. Fix mouse interaction with history entries In case of the history entries we do not have a ResultView, but rather a normal QML list view. Consequently special properties/methods do not exist. This has the only downside, that one can accidentally focus one item with the mouse when the user tries to do a keyboard only interaction. But considering that clearing specific entries from the history is done rarely and mostly done by clearing all entries in the KCM this should be acceptable. This is OK, as I don't use more than 1 activity window. I don't use activities and even have disabled all shortcuts to activities. So theoretically I would expect NO activity bar to pop up at all. BUT: it is very difficult to remove this bar. Sometimes, but not always, I can remove the bar pressing meta+esc, sometimes this can be achieved moving the mouse in the activity bar and pressing ESC. This is a very annoying behaviour. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. press meta-TAB 2. (that's it, as from then on the bar is very difficult to remove) 3. OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT Activity taskbar should auto-hide. And: if I choose NOT to use activities, this bar shouldn't show at all. [digikam] [Bug 430949] digiKam-7.2.0-beta2 (macOS (DMG)) breaks existing local MySQL/MariaDB instances on upgrade
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430949 --- Comment #21 from caulier.gil...@gmail.com --- Maik, Mariadb is compiled with Macports and included in the PKG bundle. I finalize a patch for the PKG creation bash script to fix all text files from mariadb included in the bundles (script and config files).
