[krdc] [Bug 441497] Scaling feature does not scale anything
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=441497 --- Comment #7 from Thiago Macieira --- If I need to turn on a toolbar that isn't on by default, then the UX is wrong. Either way, there's a button to scale. It's not doing anything. [krita] [Bug 441435] Can't add ffmpeg as path
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=441435 --- Comment #8 from Know Zero --- I think I figured out the underlining issue. It wasn't a problem of gyan build or btbn builds. But simply me using 4.4 vs snapshot builds. And the culprit is Windows Defender. My guess what is going on is that since snapshot builds are always new, Windows Defender spends time carefully scanning them. The 4.4 builds on the other hands are known as many more people use them, so Windows Defender just lets them through with less caution. If I exclude the directory of the snapshot ffmpeg versions, it loads up quickly just fine just like the 4.4 versions. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=441591 Bug ID: 441591 Summary: Switching user sometimes results in frozen UI Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: safiel...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 Sometimes when I have two user sessions running, and I try to switch from one to the other, I get a frozen login screen. I have two running user sessions A and B, and I am currently logged into to B. I then go to "switch user" and choose existing session A, it then sends me to a login screen for A. Once there, the login screen is frozen and I can not log in to A. I can press ctrl+alt+F2/F1 to log back in to session B, but always the login screen will be frozen for session A. This bug is not reliably reproducible, and happens like 1 in 6 times roughly. I guess that this happens because the second Middle-click option disappears when two finger mode is enabled. This Middle-click option ("Press bottom left and bottom right corners simultaneously") is the longest option and therefore when it disappears, I think the settings window re-centres all options. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start with "Right-click" set to "Press bottom-right corner" 2. Set Right-click to "Press anywhere with two fingers" OBSERVED RESULT Middle-click: "Press bottom left and bottom right corners simultaneously" option disappears All other options get moved to the right. I purchase an album on Amazon, unzip the files and move the contents into my music directory. While the files will eventually find their way into Elisa, it's not immediate. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Move a new album of mp3's to the music directory. 2. Tell Elisa to Refresh Music library 3. Wait for refresh to complete. 4. Select Albums, Artists, or Tracks 5. Search for new content using the search interface or scroll OBSERVED RESULT The new music does not appear accessible through the interface. It can only be played by navigating the file tree and manually calling the folder directly. This adds the tracks to a playlist but does not add them to the library. Closing and restarting Elisa does not help. That said, the music does appear in the list after a few days. Not presently clear how it gets into the list. EXPECTED RESULT I would expect Refresh Music Collection to search the configured music directory, recognize new files and directories, and add the music to the interface. [krita] [Bug 441588] New: Windows - Blank Auto-Key feature exhibits artifacts in certain circumstances.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=441588 Bug ID: 441588 Summary: Windows - Blank Auto-Key feature exhibits artifacts in certain circumstances. Product: krita Version: 5.0.0-beta1 Platform: Other OS: Other Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Animation Assignee: eoinoneill1...@gmail.com Reporter: eoinoneill1...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Auto key feature is useful, and the duplicate mode works as expected. However, uniquely to Windows, the blank auto key mode causes some rendering artifacts where the canvas doesn't update appropriately. I'm not sure what the cause of this is, but it would be nice to get it working for release. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Draw a big box on frame 1. The bigger, the better here. 2. Go to frame 10. Enabled Auto-Key and make sure it is on "blank" mode. 3. Draw a smaller box. Smaller is preferable here, and make sure it overlaps with some part of the line to properly see what's really happening. 4. Observe how the small box and the big box are both visible. You can see tile artifacts from the smaller box overlapping the big one, which indicates that the data and the visual are out of alignment. 5. Hide the layer and reshow to see what the canvas should actually look like. EXPECTED RESULT Blank key auto-key setting should have no artifacts, just like on Linux. This isn't a deal-breaker, but it's a minor annoyance and inconsistent with the linux build. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Press play to cache the animation. 2. Press stop. Cache should persist. 3. Seek to time. Cache will immediately flush, which is undesired. OBSERVED RESULT Cache flushes EXPECTED RESULT Cache should persist. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=440295 Tiar changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|DUPLICATE |--- Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED --- Comment #3 from Tiar --- "Yes, it's the same problem, so this can be closed as a duplicate of 440311, and that one was fixed." That's not true, I wrote clearly: "But it's in a different place, so it's not a duplicate" - because bug 440311 has only a fix for kis_clipboard_brush_widget file and not for every instance where we try to save a file with a colon in it. Hence, for this bug report, it needs a separate fix. And it would be probably a good idea to go through the files and check if we don't try to use "QDateTime::currentDateTime().toString()" or "QDateTime::currentDateTime().toString("-MM-ddThh:mm")" (or other formats) in some other places which end up as a filename, too (to prevent more bugs of this type). Since it still needs a fix, I'm reopening. Feel free to change it to a more accurate one. I have two partitions on my SSD, one is used for the root partition and one for the home partition. When I navigate to the root/home partition, it shows up with the partition name but not the mount point. I.e., the root partition is shown as "100,0 GB Internal Drive (nvme0n1p2)" and the home partition - as "123,3 GB Internal Drive (nvme0n1p3)". It's pretty awkward and looks odd. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=441538 Nate Graham changed: What|Removed |Added CC||n...@kde.org Status|REPORTED|NEEDSINFO Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO --- Comment #1 from Nate Graham --- This bug report appears to be reporting two issues: 1. Can't find programs 2. Download doesn't finish We need one bug report per distinct issue. Let's use this one to track the download issue, and please file another bug report for the issue about not being able to find the programs you expect. The next time you try to download, please run `pkmon` in a terminal window and then do the download/update/whatever. When Discover gets stuck, copy-and-paste the `pkmon` output into a file and attach the file to this bug report. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Adding one is pretty easy--the hard part is using a shortcut that doesn't conflict with any shortcuts used in any existing KDE apps. The code is here: https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kconfig/-/blob/master/src/gui/kstandardshortcut.cpp#L334 Wanna give it a try? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
