[plasmashell] [Bug 442614] New: Application Launcher shortcut broken
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442614 Bug ID: 442614 Summary: Application Launcher shortcut broken Product: plasmashell Version: 5.22.4 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: matthias.schru...@freenet.de CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY After update 5.22.5, the Application Launcher/Application Menu cannot be opened by pressing the Meta key anymore STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Update to Plasma version 5.22.5 2. Have a button for the application launcher (Kickoff) or application menu (kicker) on your taskbar 3. Hit the Meta key (aka Windows key, the one between Ctrl and Alt on most keyboards). OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens. EXPECTED RESULT The application menu or launcher should open upon pressing the Meta key. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.14.5-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION No changes have been made to the default key mapping. Reverting key mapping to defaults did not solve the problem. I also tried right-clicking the launcher/menu shortcut and opening its settings to manually change the keyboard shortcut. However, the dialog refuses to accept plain Meta as a keyboard shortcut. It expects a combination of two or more keys. (Sorry for opening this issue for version 5.22.4 instead of 5.22.5; that option is not available in the dialog) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 434468] Needs option to move from Unconfirmed to Ignored
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=434468 Jens changed: What|Removed |Added CC||jens-bugs.kde.org@spamfreem ||ail.de --- Comment #5 from Jens --- I understand his workflow, since mine is quite similar. When I have a bunch of new images, my tagging workflow is like this. 1. select all, choose "Search for faces" context menu 2. while this is running, do geotagging and rating 3. When (1) is finished, look at each image, tag / confirm faces I do not use the "Faces" sidebar to confirm faces after importing, I use it only to find images by face. So while looking at a *photo* I would like to have all four options of a) confirm / tag / correct face tag b) delete this face / this is not a face c) ignore this face right below the rectangle. Currently, I can only "reject" from Unconfirmed, and "ignore" from Unknown faces categories. This surely is one possible workflow, but why not make the options consistently available everywhere and thus also suit other workflows? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Some of those times I want to use kstars to see what objects are within. But kstars has only two 'browsing' modes: horizontal and equatorial. Both only allow movement along lines on a sphere, but not rotation. The ball head provides an extra axe which I can't reproduce in kstars, so I can't really align with the photo. I'm not even asking about adding a rectangle that simulates the sensor + lens setup, just be able to rotate the image around the axis that would go through the center of the image. Of course, a first implementation could start with just a couple of shortcuts, maybe a couple of buttons, and a later implementation could include mouse control. OTOH, I just noticed my version is somewhat old, so I don't know if this has been implemented. [plasmashell] [Bug 442606] New: automatic change of device names when automount on login
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442606 Bug ID: 442606 Summary: automatic change of device names when automount on login Product: plasmashell Version: 5.22.4 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Disks & Devices Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: empyr...@ukr.net Target Milestone: 1.0 Removable Devices — System Settings In “Automatic mount” two internal hard drives (sda and sdb) are checked to mount “On Login”. When external HDD is connected before boot, system makes external HDD as sdb (instead naming it sdc) after boot. One internal hard drive becomes sdc and do not automount. And funniest thing is that system tries to automount external HDD as sdb instead internal hard drive, but can’t do it. But I feel that this should be another issue. When I connect external drive after system boot, it is always added as sdc. Automatic mount works as it should. Is it by design that Linux dynamically assigns sda, sdb, sdc or is it bug? [krita] [Bug 442385] Chinese manual search term segmentation issues round 2
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442385 --- Comment #8 from Alvin Wong --- (In reply to Tyson Tan from comment #7) > I have a question: > Currently the Chinese translation for Opacity (不透明度) and transparency > (透明度),only 透明度 is being recognized. How do we handle this? If I added 不透明度 > to the dictionary, will it make 透明度 to fail? It depends, but the best way to tell is to build and test it locally. In theory, since Sphinx uses the `cut_for_search` method, it can produce multiple overlapping terms from a phrase. That is, if both "透明度" and "不透明度" exists in the dictionary, it should produce both terms for indexing. You may explicitly add both terms to the user dictionary to be on the safe side. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
