[kdevelop] [Bug 486932] Background parser crash C++ source
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=486932 Igor Kushnir changed: What|Removed |Added CC||igor...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Igor Kushnir --- I don't find anything like this backtrace in my local collection. Could be a libclang 17 regression (I am still at v16). > I perhaps should prevent the stripping of the debug info out from my > production builds... :) Yes, please use `options=(!strip)` and `-DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RelWithDebInfo`. Though I suspect the bug is in libclang, in which case libclang debug symbols will be needed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kwin] [Bug 486940] New: PlasmaShell shouldn't override all decorations.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=486940 Bug ID: 486940 Summary: PlasmaShell shouldn't override all decorations. Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: 6.0.4 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: decorations Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: 4wy78...@rokejulianlockhart.addy.io Blocks: 476996, 477169 Target Milestone: --- Flags: performance+, Wayland+, X11+ SUMMARY Plasma Shell shouldn't be granted special permission to render its own window decorations, in direct contrast to user preferences. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Invoke "`kcmshell6 kcm_kwindecoration`" 2. Select "Breeze" 3. Select "Edit" 4. Select "Shadows and Outline" 5. Modify the "Shadow size" and/or "Outline intensity". OBSERVED RESULT *Custom* window shadows render which differ from those of the windows, which to me looks incredibly weird on the plasmoid windows. Additionally, the new 1-pixel border on the windows doesn't render whatsoever, meaning that if a user with impaired visibility wants to use PlasmaShell, they have to contend with the fact that it's difficult to differentiate from windows which adhere to the system theme due to its lack of a darker shadow (should the user have chosen such) and window border. EXPECTED RESULT It should render the same as all other windows. If that's undesirable, then an accessibility option defaulting to disabled should permit this functionality. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.1.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 Kernel Version: 6.8.9-300.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor Memory: 30.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 5700 Manufacturer: ASRock Product Name: X670E Taichi ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This issue primarily consists to consolidate those it blocks under a conherent issue. [kde] [Bug 486936] New: Windows size changes after standby (Wayland)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=486936 Bug ID: 486936 Summary: Windows size changes after standby (Wayland) Classification: I don't know Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: vele...@proton.me Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 169407 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=169407=edit Logs at the moment of display's sleep and unlocking SUMMARY When the display turns off, and some time passes (under 15m), usually some application windows are being squished into small sizes, also some in-app panels might change its sizes too. This happens only Wayland session. X11 doesn't have such issue. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open some windows 2. Place and resize them as you wish 3. Wait / manually lock screen and wait for it to turn off OBSERVED RESULT After unlocking the screen, windows are squished and displaced. EXPECTED RESULT After unlocking windows retain their sizes and positions. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=486934 Bug ID: 486934 Summary: [Feature Request] Cycle processes by initial character when key pressed in process view. Classification: Applications Product: plasma-systemmonitor Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: ksysguard-b...@kde.org Reporter: thomaslukeduf...@hotmail.co.uk CC: ahiems...@heimr.nl, plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY A useful feature when looking for a process that I've used in other system monitor apps (ie. the infamous task manager) is that when you press a key (eg. 'S' for steam, 'F' for firefox), the highlighted process cycles through the processes starting with that letter. This is useful for when you *sorta* know the name of the process you're expecting. Also, it's much faster than filtering, which takes at least one click to select the searchbox. It also matches similar functionality in Dolphin, which cycles through files of the same initial character when one is pressed with the window focused. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open System Monitor 2. Open "Processes" tab 3. Press a letter OBSERVED RESULT No action EXPECTED RESULT Cycles through processes of the given keypress, in sorted order (ie. highest-lowest memory by default) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
