When i do it via Extract button instead, then the extraction has options: Extraction into subfolder Preserve paths when extracting i have tried both, but it always end up creating /my/destination/path/archive/sub1/sub2/sub3/sub-folder Solution: 1) by default extract folder alone instead of creating multiple levels of parent folders, 2) user have to check the checkbox to preserve full path if he want to. [frameworks-kxmlgui] [Bug 433698] Setting keys from the numpad as a shortcut is buggy
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=433698 Petr N. changed: What|Removed |Added CC||a...@prnet.info --- Comment #10 from Petr N. --- 11 months later. This issue is not app specific and is not OS specific either, because it happen to me on Linux debian stable with KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5 in apps like gwenview and kate and others which allows defining shortcuts. I am unable to make it working using Alt+Tab. I have to switch to english keyboard layout and use the numpad keys above the alpha keys (instead of using numpad on the right) and then it is set and then inside app i am able to trigger actions also using numpad on the right - yet was unable to do it when defining the shortcut as described... Can this be fixed please? Issue was also reported here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449642 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[gwenview] [Bug 449642] Unable to set keyboard shortcut for Gwenview zooming to +/-
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449642 --- Comment #2 from Petr N. --- Yes, numpad on the right of the keyboard. https://tinyurl.com/image-of-the-keyb12 Btw. I was unable to make it save "+/-" as the shortcut using Alt tab or switching to other window of a different app. You were right, numeric keys above the alpha keys (abcd...) works OK though, (i have to switch my keyboard layout to US though in order to type +,- and numbers on it) And then +,- defined like that works inside app even when pressed on the right side numpad... I see that the defining keyboard shortcuts using right side numpad does NOT work in other apps like Kate text editor either. They are using same styled window to define shortcuts. This is KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Ideas? Thank you -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
