[gwenview] [Bug 465617] New: Follow dolphin directory sorting when opened from dolphin

2023-02-12 Thread d3coder
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=465617

Bug ID: 465617
Summary: Follow dolphin directory sorting when opened from
dolphin
Classification: Applications
   Product: gwenview
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: gwenview-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: ad...@xakeps.dk
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
This is a feature request. If gwenview launched from dolphin, it should follow
directory sorting as it was defined in dolphin. No idea how this can be
implemented tbh. Maybe dolphin could pass sorting settings as an argument to
gwenview. Maybe plasma has better facilities for this.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open any directory with images in dolphin
2. Change sorting, for example sort by creation date
3. Open any image in gwenview

OBSERVED RESULT
Images in gwenview are not sorted as in dolphin directory where image was
opened

EXPECTED RESULT
Sort images in gwenview as in dolphin

It does not matter if you have external or internal NTFS drive. What matters
more is what ntfs driver is used. Ntfs-3g or new in-kernel driver.

I don't experience this bug anymore. I haven't tested mounting from NTFS, but
when mounting from EXT4, mounted iso appears immediately.
Unmounted ISOs don't disappear from a sidebar, but I believe it's intended
behavior? As you can mount them back when you click on it.

Doesn't look like there were bad login attempts, but idk. I tried lastb -a and
grepped all attempts for today. It printed one row and that happened several
hours ago.

SUMMARY
On the screenshot, look where cursor is. There is empty space between process
name and arrow on the left side.
I assume this is due to missing process icon.

3. Let use choose to show process icons or not

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start plasma-systemmonitor

[kwin] [Bug 442608] Primary monitor lost after using wayland session

2021-09-20 Thread d3coder
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442608

Primary monitor config resets in X11 session after i open wayland session and
then open X11 session.

1. Start X11 session, configure your widgets and primary monitor
2. Start Wayland session, widgets and shell are in proper places, like in X11
session
3. Start X11 session - widgets and shell swapped their position (left monitor
becomes right, and vice-versa)
I have to change primary monitor in X11, then it looks properly.

panel icons issue

SUMMARY
Implement triangle filter for app icons, like it was done for app menu

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start single app with many windows, for example steam -> friends -> settings
2. Hover over steam icon in panel
3. Try to click right or left windows

OBSERVED RESULT
When you move your cursor and it hovers over neighbor app icon, window view
will switch to that app.
It only works if you move your cursor up first, so it won't hover over neighbor
icons

I recorded video, check it

EXPECTED RESULT
It lets me select window without switching to neighbor icon preview

[KScreen] [Bug 429236] Screen layout is scrambled after switching between X11 and Wayland Plasma session

2021-06-20 Thread d3coder
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429236

This bug was not fixed https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426496
Just check screenshots (they are not attached, only links), exact same issue.
On X11 Intel, it swaps monitor content right after start.
On nvidia X11 it doesn't swap.
Haven't tested with AMD.

On wayland it doesn't swap desktop contents like on X11 Intel.

  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general

  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 138597
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=138597=edit
Reproducing bug; integrated terminal case

SUMMARY
Mouse pointer becomes unusable when it hovered over space delimiter and moved
to delimited area

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Left sidebar or integrated terminal must be active
2. Slowly move pointer to the left or down
3. When pointer reaches left (sidebar, workspace) or bottom (workspace,
terminal) delimiter, it changes from cursor to something like this <-|->
4. It does not change back after pointer moved further left or down
5. Can be 100% reproduced with integrated terminal case, harder to reproduce
with sidebar case, sometimes it happens, sometimes not

OBSERVED RESULT
Mouse cursor does not turn back to regular pointer
It turns back after it's moved back to the workspace area or moved outside of
delimitated area

> differs from what Elisa offers?

It's called playlists in DeaDBeeF. You can create one or many playlists and add
music there. Playlists are remembered between restarts. All playlists appear as
tabs, so you can easily switch between them.
