Your animated recording also shows a large position offset spike. (Most of the 'painting' brush presets use pen pressure to increase opacity or size in some way so that is why you see it on many brush presets. That Basic-2 Colour preset is designed to give only colour variation with pressure.) If you use the tablet tester (Settings -> Configure Krita -> Tablet Settings - > Open Tablet Tester), you'll probably see these in the record at the right as you draw on the grid at the left. Krita can only work with the signals that it is getting from your tablet/stylus arrangement, via the driver and the operating system. Also, there are very many people who are using 4.2.9 with many different types of drawing tablet with no problem at all. I'm using basic-5 size opacity default preset, but the issue is with all brushes. In the scratchpad there isn't a problem. And the issue begin in the second or third stroke. I tested on others softwares and all works ok. - Which drawing tablet are you using? 2in1 laptop Samsung 9 pro.
