Frame geometry seems to always have a correct value. When an offscreen effect is active, KWin attempts to allocate a 0 by 0 texture in OffscreenData::maybeRender, which fails, but KWin uses that texture anyways. This results in the entire screen turning black with the following messages being logged in the journal: kwi 21 10:35:49 thinkpad kwin_wayland[1628]: kf.windowsystem: static bool KX11Extras::mapViewport() may only be used on X11 kwi 21 10:35:49 thinkpad kwin_wayland[1628]: kwin_scene_opengl: 0x2: GL_INVALID_VALUE in glTexStorage2D(width, height or depth < 1) kwi 21 10:35:49 thinkpad kwin_wayland[1628]: kwin_scene_opengl: Invalid framebuffer status: "GL_FRAMEBUFFER_INCOMPLETE_ATTACHMENT" kwi 21 10:35:49 thinkpad kwin_wayland[1628]: kwin_scene_opengl: Can't enable invalid framebuffer object! This issue only occurs on Wayland. I found two programs it can reliably reproduced with: - Cryptomator (1.12.4) - GIMP (2.10.36) It doesn't seem to occur with Qt or other GTK applications. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a window rule that disables the titlebar and frame 2. Enable an offscreen effect, such as colorblindness correction 3. Open GIMP (sometimes this alone can cause the bug) 4. Repeatedly open and close a dialog by pressing CTRL+N and ESC. If the issue does not occur after a few attempts, restart GIMP and try again. OBSERVED RESULT The entire screen turns black and flickers until repainted. EXPECTED RESULT The screen shouldn't turn black. [amarok] [Bug 356996] Tracks become 'never played' after modifying the root Music directory
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356996 Tuomas Nurmi changed: What|Removed |Added CC||tuo...@norsumanageri.org --- Comment #6 from Tuomas Nurmi --- Ah, interesting. Reading the description and steps to reproduce, I got a feeling this might be related to a bug that was fixed yesterday in git master ( https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=475528 ). I tried the steps and could reproduce this, but (in addition to the bug fixed yesterday?), this case involves another aspect: Seems that when some subdirectories of a directory are excluded from the collection, all files in the root of the directory are excluded, too (and only the specifically included subdirectories are included). I'm not completely sure if it should include the top level or not; maybe it should, but that's technically a bit complicated to implement. (Here seems to be also an additional small UI bug: when files in a top level of directory are not included, they are shown as checkable single files in collection directory setup. However, selecting them has no effect as collection scanner skips them as they are not directories) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Skanlite] [Bug 480425] Skanlite runs the scan again after saving a scanned image
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=480425 --- Comment #4 from Mohammed Khoory --- Hello, my apologies for not replying sooner. I wanted to revisit the bug when I wanted to do another scan, but this didn't happen as soon as I thought. I tried to replicate this issue on my machine, but for some reason I couldn't. Perhaps a newer version of skanlite was instaleld that solved this issue? I also tried to trigger the automatic area detection to see if that was the issue. but for some reason it just wasn't working for me. To do this, in the configure dialog, I made sure that "Disable automatic selections" is unchecked. I then scanned two separate flyers on my flatbed scanner to ensure that it can clearly detect two items. But it didn't seem to detect a single item. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
