This is a non-official release.

Official releases on the Windows Store will be done in the name of KDE
e.V. as can be seen on Kate at

I'd suggest we import those older releases, to ensure the full history
of KDiff3 is maintained and to keep everything consolidated.

Hmm, I'm not sure if that's GPL-compliant (is it necessary to mention
license in the app description page?), but I would need to buy it to
be sure (do they provide license and pointer to source code in the
installed package?). The same publisher is selling 14 other FOSS apps
with similarly questionable license compliance...

We've already added a redirection note and links to where newer versions can be found.

We can make that note more prominent, if you want.

 

But the sourceforge-page also hosts the older file releases, which should stay available.

 

BTW: I also don't know who put KDiff3 in the Microsoft store. It wasn't me.

Known Issues/Limitations:

*As of this time binary comparison has been temporarily disabled due to 
stability concerns. I hope to have this back for the next major release.
*KIO integration is currently problematic. Some non-file protocols cause hangs/
crashes. This has been observed with "fish://". The issue is the result signal 
from KIO. For reason unknown to me this is not always received by KDiff3.
This leads to abnormal behavior. Canceling such jobs should work as expected.
*KDiff3 due to multiple design issues is extremely inefficient both in terms of
