[kde-doc-english] Feedback for Marble
Sat, 15 Sep 2012 22:42:53 +0300, maanko1999 at gmail.com: This is awesome application but i can't move earth. Hi, Marble is a desktop globe, not a space simulator. It is designed to show the maps and is not suitable to show the objects beside the main cosmic body (e.g. Earth). If you want space simulator, I'd recommend you to use Celestia [1] (native application) or SpaceEngine [2] (works fine on Linux under wine). Hope this helps. Best regards, Yuri [1] http://www.shatters.net/celestia/ [2] http://en.spaceengine.org/

[kde-doc-english] Showphoto has no documentation??
Sun, 16 Sep 2012 15:23:21 +0300, Eric S allpraise at gmail.com: http://docs.kde.org/development/en/extragear-graphics/showfoto/index.html It is seperate from digikam, and has no documentation at all. We have a problem with KDE Git servers. Staging server could not update its data and thus could not generate valid PDF and HTML for English version of a few docs. If you need it *now* I can send compiled HTML or PDF version. Sorry, hope this will be fixed next Friday. Best regards, Yuri
[kde-doc-english] Changes for tag keys: keycap to keysym
Am Freitag, 14. Is this correct? This kind of changes from keycap to keysym markup does not change the visual appearance of a documentation for the users, but of course helps to maintain the docbooks and keep markup consistent. These fixes can not go directly into 4.9 (stable), only via backports from 4.10 (trunk/master) done by the translators at certain times. I prefer to do this kind of fixes only together with updating/proofreading/correcting the content of a docbook. -- Burkhard L?ck

From the Catalan translation team have created rules for keys (for pology tool) that could be exported to other languages. If someone finds them useful. http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/l10n- support/pology/lang/ca/rules/keys.rules?view=markup Toni
