Instead of directly asking the passwords, it should show a dialog that tells the wallet is not available, retry or ignore it. If you chose retry, it should try again to ask the wallet for passwords. Usecase: - password protected wallet - kmail starts on login - kmail checks mails on startup - you start the computer and walk away for some minutes When you are back, you see the wallet dialog and kmail password dialogs. If you close the authorization dialog(s), open the wallet, restart kmail and it will ask for passwords instead of using the ones from the wallet. Clicking OK closes that window. It is when I click on OK in the Accounts window that the crash occurs. Most Japanese mails (not some) I receive are encoded in iso-2022-jp and have the correct charset in the header. In fact, I can read the same mails without having to change the encoding from Auto in KDE3. I can compose Japanese mails in UTF-8 but have to use iso-2022-jp for Japanese mailing lists. Otherwise, archived mails are garbled. I also use an LDAP server for addressbook, configured with kolabwizard. If I try to send a mail to somebody whose name starts with a, it shows those addresses I used before and start with a. I select one from them. Meantime the address book is loaded, the list changes (that isn't a big problem), but selection changes as well! So pressing enter selects the wrong person. Even if the address book was already loded (e.g. in the same, opened composer window, entering a new recipient), as you type it shows all the addresses (LDAP first, recent entries after). While you navigate through the list, after some seconds the selection jumps back to the first entry. Although I don't remember adding attachments to my events, probably I just wanted to try it out to see what it does at the beginning, but why would have this occurred now? Well it works for now and I don't really need attachments. Looking forward to see what the new Kontact in KDE 4.1 will have to offer.
