[Bug 248391] Sometimes autocompletion changes letters (e.g. t-5)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=248391 --- Comment #8 from Felix Wolfsteller felix wolfsteller intevation de 2010-09-30 08:09:09 --- Maybe we have two issues, because sometimes typing fast is a solution. I'm willing to contribute money - as I have for HTML ability in the first place and to other KDE development in general - but - if I'm going to do it again, it has to work. It has to work going forward too. Those who really wish this to happen could enter an official contract with KDAB. After all, it's among their businesses to develop Kontact for enterprise customers and they pretty much maintain KMail these days. Trinity 3.5.12 should be released tomorrow. [Bug 240981] Crash of akonadi on login
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=240981 --- Comment #29 from Luis Silva lacsilva gmail com 2010-09-30 17:08:23 --- (In reply to comment #25) You mean if the user has running _two_ sessions in parallel from different workspaces? Well, that will indeed will cause troubles, but this will happen with any other software as well, which assumes that it has exclusive access to its configuration/data files. Well, it seems to me that your problem is concurrent access to the database files. From my point of view there are two solutions to your problem: 1) On your side:Configure akonadi to connect to a dedicated mysql server with a database for each user of your system. Then, concurrent accesses will be dealt with by the server with no problems. 2) On development side: Get akonadi to recognize that the database is already being accessed by another machine and take steps to not colide with it. Ideally, akonadi would make a copy of the database files and operate on those in the case of a concurrent access. Concurrent access to resources seems to already be handled properly. I hope this helps, Luis -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

It is possible to save as draft an email without a recipient, subject or text. When reopening the draft in a composer from Home/Local Folders/Drafts and clicking on 'Send' the user is asked: 1) To enter a recipient (do it and click on 'send') 2) Whether he wishes to enter a subject or not but in both cases it works fine So I am closing this bug. Note: saving as draft an email with no recipient, subject or text is not possible in Kmail desktop. The user is not even asked in that case whether he wants to save the empty email as draft or discard it. Kmail desktop just deletes it automatically which I think makes more sense since this feature is supposed to save time to the user.
