[Bug 254731] New: email listing with groups per day is wasting too much space
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=254731 Summary: email listing with groups per day is wasting too much space Product: KMail Mobile Version: unspecified Platform: Maemo 5 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: komo3 Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: bernh...@intevation.de N900 Version 20101015-1: The group headers in the email listing of a folder is wasting too much space. E.g. I get three lines today, Friday, Thursday, which reduce the display of email lines for three entries. a) Should be configurable to switch off (perhaps per folder) b) if three entries would occupy one email height slot, it would be much more acceptable. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

And I cannot swipe to the previous and next emails. Expectations: the view is not blanked, ideally I would see the next email where swiping works. When viewing a single email, the actions - edit - have something called move to trash. Seen with 20101008 on an folder older. And now seen with 20101015-1 on a folder I've configure for the first time. [Bug 206059] Kmail stops transfering mails using IMAP without reason. Only restart helps.

I have kmail configured with two accounts to imap servers. If I leave kmail running over night, I often find in the morning it will not check mail. It behaves as if there is no new mail, but really there is, just kmail is not actually checking the server. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 254794] New: Kontact repeatedly says: Too many files are open
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=254794 Summary: Kontact repeatedly says: Too many files are open Product: kmail Version: 1.13.5 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: giecr...@stegny.2a.pl Created an attachment (id=52708) -- (http://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=52708) the stack trace compressed Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.4.4) OS:Linux I launched Kontact and I gave it my IMAP passwords. I visited my first IMAP folder; it showed a new incomming message. I did not read the message. And then all hell broke loose. Suddenly, I started getting lots of notification windows telling me that Kontact cannot create a file because too many files are open. The notification windows were about #news folders I never visited. The failing folders were in alphabetical order. The notification windows would come up (and stay) quicker than I was able to close them so I decided to close Kontact’s main window. Kontact crashed and DrKonqi was unable to reprot the crash because the stack trace is too long. And it definitely is; I think a runaway recurrency protection would be quite appropriate. [Bug 254808] build failure in runtime/xml/xmldocument.cpp
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=254808 --- Comment #1 from groot kde org 2010-10-21 00:25:28 --- On Wednesday, October 20, 2010 11:46:59 pm tropikhajma wrote: /export/home/test/Dashboards/kdepim/srcdir/runtime/xml/xmldocument.cpp, line 149: Error: Template parameter FreeFunc requires an expression of type void(*)(_xmlDoc*). What the error message isn't saying is that the template expects a C++-linkage function to be passed in, while the functions declared by libxml are C linkage. The patch adds totally bogus C++ linkage versions of the same. Perhaps they should be inline as well. There's also some additional explicit bool() operators in the patch to disambiguate from operator ().
