As Nicole says there is no other way to see the changes, so maybe you want to
turn the feature of for the moment.
You can do so using the system preference "OPACPatronDetails".

Hope that helps,

Hi Katrin -- many thanks for the reply, you "hit the nail on the head."

We did have for this record:

=600 \\$a $915837

which is the "RLIN" for the author (how it got there, from the 100$a, with
an empty 600$a is a mystery), and now after deleting the RLIN, there's no
600 and the web page is just fine.

Would you by any chance have a suggestion as to a mysql query to find other
records that contain the same error. I've tried:

SELECT biblio.biblionumber, biblio.title, biblio.author
FROM biblio
RIGHT JOIN biblioitems ON biblio.biblionumber = biblioitems.biblionumber
LEFT JOIN items ON biblio.biblionumber = items.biblionumber
WHERE ExtractValue(marcxml,'//datafield[@tag="600"]/subfield[@code>="a"]')
IS NULL AND
ExtractValue(marcxml,'//datafield[@tag="600"]/subfield[@code>="9"]')

but get nothing. Maybe (wild dream?) there's no other erroneous records,
but much more probably the mysql code misses the truth (it runs without
apparent error, but...)

Again, many thanks and best regards -- Paul

For just a very few of our holdings (and so far we haven't found a pattern
for the behaviour), we are getting a "double vision" effect in Firefox,
Chrome, Opera so it doesn't seem to be browser specific.

The book/item is found without problem, but just under the "Holdings -
Title notes - Comments" tabs, it starts a new "page" with "No results
found!" As soon as you click on any of those tabs, the "double" disappears
... but "reload" brings it back ...

For an example please see

Has anyone else ever noticed this behaviour in Koha 3.8.x?

[Koha] Record matches in bulk MARC imports

2012-10-08 Thread Elaine Bradtke
I am contemplating setting up different record matching rules since an ISBN
is lacking for many of our titles and I know there are some overlaps with
what's already in the system.

   - I would like to build a record matching rule on author, title and
publication date. Has anyone done this already?
   - How can I see what the new parameters are doing before I import the
staged records (at the point when they're still in the reservoir)? Just to
make sure it is working as expected. Is there a way to output a list of
   matched records at this stage?
   - As the staged records are imported, do you have the opportunity to
interact with the matched records (say yes or no to import, or override the
   setting for individual matched records?)

Maybe I'm asking for too much control, but we've got lots of very similar
titles without ISBN (Twenty-four country dances for the year ) in the
collection. Maybe I should upload these in smaller batches?

We're running 3.08.05.

Greetings,

Your error message is unrelated to your indexing problem. Your error message
is related to Bug 8175, for which there is a patch that has not passed QA
yet.

First: is zebra even running?
$ ps aux | grep zebra

Second: Have you tried a rebuild_zebra_sliced.sh? or the script from bug
6566?

Those are the ideas that come to my mind.

An email should be sent to you so that you can see what changes your
patron wants to make and then you have to copy and paste the edits
from your email in to Koha. There is no automatic update of patron's
