Also, try including more details of the problem, such as: * Which Koha version is being used (see About Koha on the staff homepage). * The precise problem description. If there's no error on the screen, check any relevant log files you can find. * The error in the mail log files (if any). * What output was produced when you ran process_message_queue.pl * Any mail-related options in the config files. * If it has worked for you before, the date when it worked. * Whether you can send any email from the server command-line. Hi MJ, Thanks for your email. My problem solved. What I was doing mistake, is that I entered a wrong SMS gateway value in circulation in system preference. And it was showing error of SMS gateway not found when I was running the process_message_queue.pl. I removed the wrong sms gateway entry and now it is working fine. How do I set the SMTP server address in Koha ? As Robin said, just try running process_message_queue.pl without parameters, i.e. without pointing to a specific SMTP server. If your Koha server has a local SMTP server configured, it will work. Otherwise, it means you will have to ask your server system administrator to install a SMTP server, or search for your Linux distribution how to do it. Alternatively, it's possible to send email via a SMTP server running on a remote server. In this case, you have to give SMTP server address, and so on, to the Koha email processing script. We don't have those information, and can't help. This is not anymore a Koha question but a Linux one: How can I send an email from my distribution of Linux.
