As the local use preferences are not in the YAML files, but only as SQl in the
database, the search won't include the local use tab.

When you send an empty search, the empty list will show, saying nothing was
defined. That's not correct.

I think it would be better to exclude them from search or add a note instead
that they cannot be searched for.

Actually the note might be a good addition to the top of the local use prefs
page too!

You can not set each position individually, but you can use the default setting
on the framework @ subfield with the full string to do some presetting. Maybe

The script in the More and Search pull downs is really small and smaller as the

Bug 31905: Fix button spacing on holds page

This patch makes minor modifications to the holds template in order to
improve the display of the hold buttons related to existing holds.

The patch also adds "display:none" to the hold cancellation fieldset so
there isn't a flash of content before JavaScript hides it.

To test, apply the patch and locate a record in the catalog.

- Place one or more holds on the record.
- View the holds for that record.
- Under the "Existing holds" heading there should be a toolbar of
  buttons which sits above the page-section div. The buttons should be
  well spaced.
- If you have cancellation reasons defined in authorized values, the
  "Cancel selected" button should correctly trigger a modal with the
  option to specify a cancellation reason.
- The display should work well for any setting of the HoldsSplitQueue
  system preference.

Bug 31996: Make note-style messages consistent with dialogs

This patch modifies the style of divs with the class "note," making them
have the same background color as message dialogs as proposed in Bug
31973.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS.

Confirm that the updated style looks good. Some pages where you can find
examples:

- Administration -> Authorized values -> View a categories values.
- Administration -> Search engine cofiguration (with Elasticsearch
  enabled).
- Cataloging -> Batch record deletion -> Submit a list of biblionumbers.

Bug 31991: Restore style of sidebar forms

This patch restores the aside{} section of staff-global.scss from before
the staff redesign and makes some tweaks to make it consisten with the
redesign. The goal is to make the spacing of the form more compact but
still readable, and to correct some layout inconsistencies.

The patch also modifies the order filter form to fix the layout of some
checkboxes.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS.

Test various pages with sidebar forms to confirm that the form looks
readable and usable. For example:

- Patrons
- Acquisitions -> Invoices
- Tools -> Tags
- Serials -> Subscription search results
- Overdues
- Holds to pull

Not sure about these ones, as I think they are outside the scope of this bug.

Happy to add separate bugs for these to fix up the form inconsistencies.

1. Acquisitions > Suggestions management: has expandable sections that open
when clicked with the form for each option - there is no space between the last
field and the button(s), there is no space before the left margin for the
"Filter by:" heading.

2. Administration > Budgets > All funds: "Filters" link outside the filter box,
here is no space between the last field and the button(s), grey space after
before the other sidebar options.

3. Tools > Tags: apply filters button has no colour

4. Tools > News: the heading "Filter" is outside the box with the white
background, there is no "Action" button - but selections work, however, there
is a grey background line after the end of the filter and the other sidebar
options.

5. Tools > Pages: same as for Tools > News.

6. Reports > Use saved: Gray space before buttons, no white space after.

Others checked:
- Acquisitions > Late orders: OK.

This patch restores the background color to message-style alerts, those
which use the markup . These alerts should
stand out more to the user.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS.

- Test areas which use the message-style dialog. Perhaps the easiest
  example is to try to view a bibliographic record which doesn't exist:

  /cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/detail.pl?biblionumber=1234567890

- It can also be found as a confirmation when deleting a basket in
  Acquisitions, deleting a patron attribute type in Administration,
  updating a Z39.50 server in Administration, etc.

- Confirm that the alert looks correct and is suitable visible.

Bug 31976: Incorrect default category selected by authorized values page

This patch removes some obsolete code for selecting a default authorized
value category to be shown when the user first arrives on the authorized
values page. This has not been necessary since we switched to an
interface which lists all categories.

NOTE: This bug will not be reproducible if your first authorized value,
alphabetically, has no values associated with it. For instance, if you
delete all authorized values in the AR_CANCELLATION category.

To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Authorized values.

In the breadcrumbs menu you should see "Home -> Administration ->
Authorized values."

Clicking any of the authorized value categories in the list should take
you to a view of that category's values.

Hi Owen, could you have a look at these again for possible follow-ups here?

* h1 should not be inside page section for currencies
* Item fields has 2 h1, which makes the heading inside the page section bigger
than the first one
* OAI sets: 3rd step, defining mappings is missing page section:
admin/oai_set_mappings.pl?id=1
* Share contents with Hea: we usually put the h2+ now inside the page-section,
but there is a lot of additional text on this screen between form and headings.
Should these also be blocks?

Some more notes, happy to file new bugs if they make some sense:

* auth_subfields_structure.pl - The submit/cancel are in a separate 'block', I
have also seen this on other pages. Should we make this a general rule for our
style guide?

* The save buttons for the 'new' actions on classification configuration are
not 'centered'. There is a lot more white space to the top than to the bottom.
Maybe a mark-up problem?
Same for: admin/edi_accounts.pl?op=acct_form ...
But: branch_transfer_limits.pl has no additional space on top and bottom.

Yes. Testing plugins properly is a bit messy, but it works just fine with these
follow-ups.

The plugin in question is:
https://github.com/ub-digit/koha-plugin-stats-other-table

This essentially records customised statistics into its own table (specified in
the plugin configuration) on multiple of the "after_*_action" hooks (hence the
reason for two of the three other hook addition bug-entries).

It should be possible to use on a master as is, but be aware that it
automatically creates the table in the database (if checkbox to do this is
set).

With this plugin installed I did:

1. Place hold on next available item
2. Checkin an item on other library than pickup (found=T)
3. Checkin the item on the pickup library (found=W)
4. Checkout item to patron (found=F + issue)

Without this patch, this sequence records hold_place, hold_fill, issue.
With the patch it records hold_place, hold_transfer, hold_waiting, hold_fill,
issue as expected.

hold_processing would be included if SIP checkin was used with that processing
syspref.

Koha's club holds give a way to place holds for all club members on a given
biblio. One can create a club for a given author and then use it to place holds
for interested patrons on all new titles by that author.

It would be really helpful if Koha could be configured to prompt the user to
place those club holds when creating/updating titles for the club author. 

It would also be helpful if the club could somehow be inherently tied to the
author so one wouldn't have to select the correct club out of a list of
authors.

Perhaps we could store a club_id in the author authority somewhere? Then pop up
a modal suggesting a club hold whenever a first holdable item is added to a bib
tied to that authority?

Overdue notices are currently sent to the patron’s home library, not the owning
or issuing library. The problem is the letter template used is based on either
the owning or the issuing library (based on the cronjob option --frombranch).
That means if a Library A patron has an overdue checked out/owned by Library B,
then Library A will receive a print notice formatted with Library B’s template.

To resolve this we can do one of two things:
A) Add an option to format the notice using the template from the patron’s home
library

B) Add an option to send notices for print to the patron’s home library, but to
the owning/checkout library

(A) is a simpler solution, though (B) may be wanted by library systems that are
more “independent” and don’t want to mail notices for overdues at other
libraries.

It seems to me like a good solution may be to make this a syspref, so that
libraries can make their own decisions about how they want to prioritize
between giving patrons more flexibility to manually renew vs. preventing people
from gaming the system. I think it would work well with Katrin's idea of
splitting the restriction into 'no auto-renewal before' and 'no manual renewal
before', so that libraries could have a syspref for each to customize for their
use case.

Similar to bug 25079.

When creating a club template, one can set "club questions" to be asked as one
creates a club. The answers to those questions are stored in the database and
can be retrieved in a report, but are not otherwise shown in the staff
interface. 

These values should be visible in the clubs list on plubs.pl.

This patch modifies the style of divs with the class "note," making them
have the same background color as message dialogs as proposed in Bug
31973.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS.

Confirm that the updated style looks good. Some pages where you can find
examples:

- Administration -> Authorized values -> View a categories values.
- Administration -> Search engine cofiguration (with Elasticsearch
  enabled).
- Cataloging -> Batch record deletion -> Submit a list of biblionumbers.

In a few places we use  which is an alternative to , displaying at full width of the container and often
prepended by an icon.

The style of this message has not been updated as part of the redesign. It
should be made to match the .dialog.message style.

The real time hold queue and the build_holds_queue.pl jobs are not 100%
compatible in that we should not be running the cron if the real time queue is
enabled, this could lead to double server work. It would be good to have a
check in build_holds_queue for the RealTimeHoldsQueue syspref and not run the
job if the preference is enabled. 

There might be times when we'd want to force a run of this job without changing
the syspref. To that end we would also want a flag for this job so that system
administrators could force the job from the command line if required,
overriding this limitation.

Bug 31994: DataTable next button does not work when using data in the HTML

This patch resolves the issue that occurs when the next button of a DataTable
with data straight from the HTML is clicked.

Test plan:
1. Open itemtypes.pl.
2. If there are fewer than 11 item types, create additional item types until
there are more than 10, so that the next button can be used.
3. Click on the next button / link.
4. Notice that nothing happens.
5. Apply the patch.
6. Restart plack / memcached if using.
7. Reload itemtypes.pl.
8. Click on the next button / link.
9. Notice that the next page is displayed.

This patch adds a link back to the current authorized value category to
the breadcrumbs. The page title has also been modified to match.

To test apply the patch and go to Administration -> Authorized values.

- Click an authorized value category, e.g. CCODE.
- Click "New authorized value for CCODE"
- In the breadcrumbs menu you should see: "Home ->  Administration ->
  Authorized values -> Authorized values for category CCODE -> New
  authorized value.
- The "Authorized values for category CCODE" link should take you back
  to the correct view.
- The page title should match.
- Return to the list of CCODE authorized values and open one for
  editing.
- The breadcrumbs should include a link back to "Authorized values for
  category CCODE"

When the next button of a DataTable with data straight from the HTML is
clicked, nothing happens. Additionally, an error can be found in the console
similar to:

Uncaught TypeError: q is undefined

Note that this problem does not occur when the data is sourced using Ajax.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open itemtypes.pl.
2. If there are fewer than 11 item types, create additional item types until
there are more than 10, so that the next button can be used.
3. Click on the next button / link.
4. Notice that nothing happens.

Bug 31976: Incorrect default category selected by authorized values page

This patch removes some obsolete code for selecting a default authorized
value category to be shown when the user first arrives on the authorized
values page. This has not been necessary since we switched to an
interface which lists all categories.

NOTE: This bug will not be reproducible if your first authorized value,
alphabetically, has no values associated with it. For instance, if you
delete all authorized values in the AR_CANCELLATION category.

To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Authorized values.

In the breadcrumbs menu you should see "Home -> Administration ->
Authorized values."

Clicking any of the authorized value categories in the list should take
you to a view of that category's values.
