I have a KR1 project that I started before I was run over by a drunk in a very large pickup truck. And as you can imagine the medical went away as soon as they started writing prescriptions for pain medication. And now I have this very nice KR1 project that has the same stretch as the KR2S in my shop that needs to find a new builder. The fuselage is done as are the spars. And there is other stuff that I bought that goes with the project, Way to much stuff to list. It just needs to find a builder that wants to save himself allot of money and time. So if you know anyone that is interested A Thousand bucks takes it all. And if I do say so myself the construction is superb. I will send you the original gear legs as soon as I can. I have the landing gear legs that all that stuff mounts to. Maybe I should have sent the whole landing gear assemblies. So you could see how it all worked and went together. I was just about to take all that stuff and sell it as scrap aluminum. If you want the gear legs I will let you have them for what ever it was going to bring as scrap. That way you could reassemble them and see how they went together. Let me know what you think. If you would be in the market for a boat stage KR1 that has been done rite with tons of extras, ( Sort of as a parts spare ) I have almost everything you need to finish the air frame. At a price that could save you several thousand. And I might even be able to deliver it for just travel expenses. This could be a cheap way to put your restoration into fast forward. And I guarantee you won't be disappointed with the workmanship on this project.
