2008-10-12 Thread Robert K Pesak
Hay Netters
I'm the guy thats build his one piece wing,I'm using the AS5046
airfoil. My aileron hinges are attached to my aft spar, the aileron are actuated
with push-pull rods. The question I have is,how much up and travel should I
have? The plans call for 20 degrees T.E.U and 10 degrees T.E.D. Right now I'm
getting 13degrees T.E.D. and 25degrees T.E.U. I think what I'v got will be
plenty, but it's always nice to get advice.

2008-10-12 Thread Robert K Pesak
 Hay everyone
Just checking in with a few thoughts, I started my one piece wing in
November of last year.I buil my spar like Mark talked about, my aft spar is one
piece also. I got everything riged up, the aileron and flap hinges are in place
and are working well. I used another design for my bellcrank and actuators.
I'll get some pics together and see what everone thinks of
it.

KR> Paint Run

2008-10-12 Thread Robert K Pesak
The best way to remove a run is to block sand, use some 1500 grit wet sand till
it's leveled out. Then use some 2000 grit and buff to a finish.

I'm installing Cleveland brakes to my gear legs, anyone tell me if the are
in front of of the axles or aft of the axles. I'm thinking aft and with the

me know.

Thanks Larry,
I Think your the one that told me that I may have to cheat a bit and move
the axle back. After I held things up with clamps I see what your talking
about. Thanks for that advice
