[Bug 362493] Re: [jaunty] Wrong plasma geometries after xrandr screen resize

2009-07-15 Thread pittipatti
At the moment I haven't got the time to test this in karmic as this bug does
not occur every time but sporadically.
But I'm using kde 4.3 on on jaunty for some weeks now and indeed I haven't seen
this bug since then.
So I think that this is also the case for the ackages shipped with Karmic and
we can mark this bug as fixed.

thanks

[Bug 346246] Re: Amarok in Ubuntu 9.04 does not offer to install restricted codecs (like MP3)

2009-07-15 Thread dotancohen
Thank you for looking into this, Celeste. Which devs did you speak to?
Because from talking to an Amarok (not *buntu) dev (I don't remember
who, sorry, it was a chat) it looked to him like a simple regression
(because it worked in the past) that should be an easy fix (because the
code to make it work should already be there). I don't have the chat
logs, but I can try to find him again it you'd like.

Which devs declared that this is too big of a problem?

[Bug 364911] Re: amarok sometimes displays the wrong artist and album for songs in the playlist and playing

2009-07-15 Thread Pete
I've just experienced this today for the first time (well, this is the
first time that I've noticed it anyway). Very confusing!

When I open Amarok's tag editor the genre matches the location, the
genre is from a different song and the artist is from a different song
again! I guess it could be related to rescanning the collection, adding
songs or editing tags within Amarok.

Whatever it is, it's pretty confusing!

[Bug 375869] [NEW] audiocd kioslave extremely slow and stays open after ripping

2009-07-15 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Running Kubuntu 9.04 with KDE 4.2.3 amd64.
Using the audiocd kioslave in Jaunty to rip a CD is extremely slow:
The ripping of a CD with 12 tracks takes almost 4 hours. I tried this on
different PCs with either Kubuntu Intrepid with KDE 4.2.2 or Jaunty with KDE
4.2.3.
The speed doesn't change notably whether I choose ogg, mp3 or wav as the target
format.
Also, once a CD rip is completed and the CD removed, the kioslave stays open
and hogs almost 80% of the CPU. It has to be killed manually every time,
closing Dolphin doesn't kill it as it should.

[Bug 350299] [NEW] dolphin does not mount encrypted devices (KDE 4.2 Jaunty beta1)

2009-07-15 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: dolphin

I have an USB HDD with two partitions. The first one is formated with
FAT32 (sdb1), the second one is encrypted with luks and formated with
ext3 (sdb2). When I attach the disk, Dolphin shows two new devices:

* nameOfFat32Partition
* Volume (crypto_LUKS)

I have no problem accessing sdb1. And when I click on the sdb2 icon for
the first time, Dolphin asks for the password. I enter it, the mount
symbol appears on the icon, but I cannot access it. Whenever I click on
this icon, Dolphin jumps back to the previous location. No error
message, nothing.

I've noticed that the device has been decrypted correctly:
$ ls -l /dev/mapper
[...]
brw-rw 1 root disk 252,  2 2009-03-28 14:48
luks_crypto_43d520b7-1a53-4f1b-bf95-3f4db8295946

And I can even mount this device manually:
$ sudo mount /dev/mapper/luks_crypto_43d520b7-1a53-4f1b-bf95-3f4db8295946 /mnt
$ ls /mnt
# The contents of the encrypted partition is shown
