Erich: Actually the web browser widget or picture frame are from the kdeplasma-addons source. So not a core part of the Plasma desktop. We just seed those addons packages by default as they are good to have for users. So on studio that points to /usr/share/sddm/themes/ubuntustudo/ That means that the file /usr/share/sddm/themes/ubuntu-theme/Main.qml in question is actually physically on disk the real file /usr/share/sddm/themes/ubuntustudo/Main.qml which is shipped in ubuntustudio-default-settings package. Have been running these packages on real hardware since the packages built in proposed. - Have not noticed any regressions during daily use. - Have verified as many of the bugfixes as I could reasonably do on my setup. I can also report that the Kubuntu Focus team (https://kfocus.org/) have tested the packages in some depth, and noted no regressions and some improvements and fixes for issues that had concerned them in 5.24.6 or lower. Actually the trigger is not in Breeze, but a change in kconfigwidgets 5.98.0. It just happened that doing test upgrades of Breeze also pulled in the 5.98.0 kconfigwidgets packages. The commit that seems to be the issue is: https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kconfigwidgets/-/commit/8c078b50fc867df0396c7cf76ff000a747de1043 It does seem to be a reasonable change from KDE, so unclear whether this should be a KDE bug, or if it should really be a lxqt issue where lxqt mishandles such changes.
