Re: [libreoffice-l10n] accelerators
Not sure if this has been raised but making translators implement changes like ~ _ manually or when a typo in the source has been changed can introduce regression in terms of the quality. It's not so much of an issue on longer strings but on short strings like 'import' or 'edit' where the English source is ambiguous as to whether it's a noun or a verb, this is a problem. You spend time checking in the UI when you first translate to make sure you get it right, then someone fixes and English typo and you have no idea if you're guessing right now or not and you either guess or spend time checking again. Even worse with the *** accelerators... There goes another week of my 'spare' time fixing stuff that was already fixed. We had finished it but now i see that transifex has an unfinished version there :( I think I gave what we had in Pootle to Evgeny and he incorporated the translations. I wouldn't be surprised about incompleteness though – just like all products, Askbot is evolving, and strings are changing. Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Another typo in new strings
Hi :) Nice! I still think the 1st one was best though because the wrong letter looked so right that it took me ages to spot it even when i knew i was looking for an error and that there were only 2 words in it!
