[lace] Christmas Bell Experiment
Yesterday I finished a piece of lace which was partly an experiment using 'sequin off-cut' or what I would call "metal lace" which I inserted in the ovals at the bottom. I also added some sequins to three of the side sections. Hi Pene That's a super Christmas decoration. Am I right in thinking that you completed the bobbin lace and then added the sequins and sequin waste using a needle and metallic thread? Thanks for the complement, Brenda. I didn't use a needle at all. After I had made the lace trails - 2 trails on the top & one trail around the bottom - I used the gold passives to include the sequin waste & the sequins. It wasn't easy to join both sides together.
