On the internatioanl lace digest arachne.com an informal census of
numbers of lace makers world wide
is in progress.
We had a response from Rieko Tamura (see below), but wondered if you
have any idea of numbers of lace makers
in your part of Japan. This includes bobbin lace, tatting etc.
