Yes

Study the pictures, it shows you lathe as well as milling use.  Just 
make sure you are able to use the same mount or chuck accurately on both 
machines. The flame point was left strong and I finished them to a point 
with a dremmel off the machines.

I had seen this and it is definitely on my to-do list. My biggest problem is 
doing the flame part. 
I would do the base on the lathe but would I then turn the rough shape of the 
flame? Leaving the piece in my chuck, mount in the legacy to do the three sides?

I am going through all the old posts and if there are good "How to's " I print 
them off and place into a folder.

I did make my own type of Shopsmith duplicator, but it went with a lathe that 
was sold. Will have to make another !!
