However, the 2nd Event is not pushed down to accommodate the photo attached to the 1st Event so this photo overlaps the area of the 2nd Event and the family details and a long line of text giving the Spouse's details runs over the picture. Select the event and edit it. Then using the left of the two buttons on the right, copy it to the clipboard. Now, go to the individual, and add a new event. Then, using the second of the two buttons, paste the clipboard into the event. Voila! Re: [LegacyUG] ToDo list printing
To get the printouts in a set pattern I put the user ID or RIN into the file no entry. Then just do a printout with the following options in the To-Do List Report Options window Record Selection All Tasks TICKED...Don't split a task over a page break TICKED... What to include eg All the entries in Header Box TICKED...Report Body File ID TICKED...and include RINS TICKED Sort Order Primary File ID... Second any entry...Third any entry. Then do a preview. The result is not in order and bottom task on page is split and the File ID appears as though it is associated with the next task. [LegacyUG] Attaching a picture
I'm curious to find ot why. If I go to Picture Centre and complete details on the picture of Caption/Date/Description. When I attach to any person from the Picture Centre the Caption/Date/Description all appear with the picture. But when I attach the same picture via the individual's information to for eg, an event or marriage picture or baptism picture, the Caption/Date/Description do not appear. As the 2nd method is a lot quicker/easier its natural to go this way, until I realise it is not the way to go. Why is it necessary to use the long way round ? [LegacyUG] Potential Problem
I have an individual that has a 'Note' event where the date is before the birth date. This shows up as a 'Potential Problem' in the 'Individual's Information' window. When I mouseover, Legacy reports event date out of range I right click and go to Problems tab and tick the entry for 'Event/fact date before birth or after death date'. and I still get the same potential problem. When I tick ALL of the boxes in the 'Exclude from Potential Problems' window I still get the same potential problem warning in the 'Individual's Information' window. Am I missing something somewhere or is this a bug. Cathy The difference is, that to the UK Legacy 8.0 Deluxe Download Bundle (software via download, PDF manual) Your bundle price $34.95 Legacy 8.0 Deluxe (software on CD download, printed PDF manual) Our Price: $39.95 PLUS $25.00 delivery In other words an extra $30.00 for the printed manual as opposed to the PDF version Jo Poi On 11 December 2013 at 3:34 AM, Cathy Pinner wrote: The manual is great if you are still basically learning your way around Legacy. I don't see that it makes any difference where you live. The Manual is about the functions of Legacy. If you know your way around Legacy 7.5 well then you probably don't need the Manual in my opinion and would find Geoff's Legacy Unlocked more useful. The new features are much better described in the Help which is far more extensive and more readily updated. They are also described in the Video on the webpage and note that a webinar is scheduled for the New Year. These can be watched online free for a time if you can't make the actual time of the webinar. H No responses, so looks like nobody in the Uk has either received and/or purchased one. Have to draw my own conclusions from that then.
