I have some data in PAF's NOTES where I can flag those I want printed with an !. I like Legacy's webpage creation choices better. But. I don't see a way to specify I want ONLY the ! notes on the webpage. Looks as if I can say ALL notes or NO notes. If I'm wrong, directions, please. If I'm not wrong, I went looking for a way to IMPORT only the ! notes without GED. Didn't find one. If there is, directions, please. Thanks. Notes that you don't want included in reports, web pages, exports, etc can be placed between double brackets [[ like this ]]. Legacy won't include that data unless you select to include Private Notes. At one time, the manual said to use ! to mark what was wanted to print. A SVPAFUG manual suggested !SOUR to mark sources !MILI to mark military service, !Occu to mark occupations ... and so on. By PAF5 the ~ was to be used to mark things you /didn't/ want to print, but the option to print only tagged notes was left, so the ! kept on working.
