https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49134 Bug #: 49134 Summary: [FILEOPEN] opening password protected odt from explorer has pasword entry dialog hidden behind other windows Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.5.2 Release Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: o...@dci-electronics.nl When opening a password protected odt file, a password must be entered in a dialog form before the document opens. This form is not on top of all windows on the screen, but hidden behind them. Result is that user does know what is happening (i.e. user waits for LibreOffice dialog and Libreoffice waits for user input). I have run different tests : I created a file with imported images on pages 2 and following, using different anchorings. I first saved as docx (Anchoring test.docx) - images are where they should be, however aligments seem to have changed (probably different problem haven't lookt at this in detail) I then re-saved the same file as odt (anchoring test_odt.odt) - I get doubles of all images, independent of anchoring on the top page and these doubles are ALL page anchored, even though they were not in the beginning. When I resave this as docx (anchoring tes_odt_docx.docx) - the images on top of the first page disappear, and all the other images at their right place get a read error It seems to me that when switching between odt and docx somhow the anchoring information gets lost -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49141 Bug #: 49141 Summary: [EasyHack] Make the whole Start Center window a drag-and-drop destination Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO Master Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Libreoffice AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: tlillqv...@suse.com Currently (at least on Windows) you can't drop dragged documents onto the doument type buttons in the Start Center, including their labels and a fairly large surrounding area. This is not really that useful in my opinion. It wouldn't be that confusing even if one could drop (for instance) a spreadsheet onto (for instance) the Text Document button, and still (naturally) the document would open as a Spreadsheet, in a Calc window. So the hack is to find the place where the accepted drop area is defined and make it cover all of the Start Center. Possibly this means one has to activate also the buttons for dropping, and then have them just pass on drops to the Start Center background, or something. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48402 --- Comment #3 from Andrew Harrington anharringt...@gmail.com 2012-04-25 18:13:52 PDT --- Without expanded spacing, I have the same problem on Mac with Lion OS. I just downloaded latest stable LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 Build ID: 281b639-6baa1d3-ef66a77-d866f25-f36d45f Same problem on 3.5. The issue seems to be specifically with a sequence of space characters in a variable width font like Times New Roman. No problem with fixed width fonts or an artificial example with no spaces, but if I have set up a layout with spaces, I cannot edit in any reasonable fashion. In particular in a new document, with Time New Roman 12 font, if I set spaces to be visible, and start entering a sequence of spaces, the last space dot appears further and further to the right of the cursor as I add more spaces, though *logically* the cursor should be at the right end of the spaces. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

For that the result would be correct. I tested with Numbers 0 ... 3 in B2, and indeed for 0 and 1 function result is 12, for 3 (1.1.1900) result became 1 for January. So the calculation is correct, but may be an error message for an empty cell would be more consistent than simply counting it as 0? I can't see a real bug, many other number operations count empty cells as 0 I did some additional tests with 'Date()', where also empty cells are counted as 0. Bug or feature? I can't tell. Currently I see this one more as a low priority Enhancement Request to improve consistency and comprehensibility than a real bug. @David: May be Help should be competed concerning empty cells? @Kohei: Can you please check whether MONTH() behaves in accordance with the current general exception rules? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
