https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57061 Roman Eisele b...@eikota.de changed: What|Removed |Added Hardware|x86 (IA32) |All OS|Windows (All) |All Severity|normal |major --- Comment #3 from Roman Eisele b...@eikota.de --- Thank you, Pedro, for reporting this, and thank you, Rainer, for CCing me! REPRODUCIBLE also on Mac OS X (10.6.8, Intel) with LOdev 4.0.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 32315e; pull time: 2012-11-13 00:32:26). This master build for Mac OS X correctly creates the user profile folder at ~/Library/Application Support/LOdev/4/user/ ^ -- as expected. But it does NOT migrate any settings from the /LOdev/3/user folder to the /LOdev/4/user/ folder; not even the most general settings, like my user name, or the selected JRE appear in the /LOdev/4/user/ profile. It seems that the new (4) user profile is created from scratch, without attempting to copy any data from the old (3) user profile folder. → Changed Platform to All/All. → Increased Importance: IMHO this is at least a “major” issue, because when LibO 4.0 will be released, most users will expect that all their settings are correctly imported, and we would get bad press if we would not do that. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57061 --- Comment #4 from Roman Eisele b...@eikota.de --- About the question: what to do with the old (3) user profile: (In reply to comment #0) Maybe the \3 folder can be optionally left around (in case people want to go back). https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56745 harald-koes...@htp-tel.de changed: What|Removed |Added CC||harald-koes...@htp-tel.de --- Comment #3 from harald-koes...@htp-tel.de --- I can confirm the bug of Julius. I performed these steps: 1. Open new text document 2. Set option LibreOffice WriterBasic Fonts (Western)DefaultSize“ to 11pt 3. View preferences of character style Emphasis (Context menu Modify...), the font size should be 11pt 4. Change character colour of style Emphasis to green, then OK 5. Insert heading with paragraph style „Heading1“, character size is 16.1pt 6. Select a word of the heading 7. Assign character style Emphasis to this word. The character colour changes to green and the style to italic. But the character size is still 16.1pt although the (displayed??) character size of style Emphasis is 11pt. Perform the same steps with character size 10.5pt in step 2. In this case at step 7 the character colour changes to green and the style to italic. So far it is equal. But the character size changes to 10.5pt (!!!). You see the behaviour is different. So one of the cases should be wrong. I tend to the first case, hence when I use this style I expect that the displayed size is also assigned to the selected text. But other users may think different. They may like to use the style Emphasis only to change one characteristic of a character (e. g. change colour to blue) and the other characteristics (e. g. character size) should not be changed. I think Julius expected such a behaviour. A solution for both expectations could be a selection possibility “No Change” for the characteristics of a character style (Size, Font, Style, Font color...). This is probably a major change of the code, but the current implementation could lead to confusion and it is difficult to detect the reason for this confusion (Option “Size of basic font”). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Here is the testcase: {\rtf1\ansi {\stylesheet {\*\cs16\ul Anot;} {\*\cs15\i ForeignTxt;} } {\cs16\ul Text } with {\cs15\i character } formatting \par } This testcase only differs from the testcase from Bug 54473 comment 5 in one character (absent semicolon after \stylesheet). Opening it in Writer, the word Text displays not underlined (unlike the testcase from the abovementioned bug). Both MS Word Viewer and MS Word show this file OK. Notes: 1. This testcase was artificially crafted, so it is not known if this kind of bug may be encountered in the wild; thus the priority is low. However, it is still a bug, because it violates the standard. 2. The print dialog comes up normally, where I keep the default printer (Xerox ColorQube 9201) and don't change any settings. As soon as I click Print, LibreOffice creates a blank page in front of the one-and-only existing page. Both pages are sent to the printer. Then I have to manually remove that extra page. This is reproducible. If, on the other hand, I print from Print Preview, everything works as expected. No rogue blank pages appear. This bug was actually experienced by a customer of mine (I witnessed it), so I don't have that specific document handy. I also have not tried other documents. I can get the document and try other stuff if this bug isn't a dupe. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 57079] EDITING: CRASH Using Edit Contour dialog
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57079 billh...@y7mail.com changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Summary|EDITING: Using Edit Contour |EDITING: CRASH Using Edit |dialog do crash LO |Contour dialog Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from billh...@y7mail.com --- Confirmed on LO 3.6.3.2 Windows Vista 32bit. To reproduce: 1. Open attached document 2. Right click on the image; Wrap-Edit contour 3. Move the markers around quite drastically. e.g. move the bottom one up to the middle and the right marker to the middle. 3. Click the 'tick' in the top left corner. 4. Press the 'Run systemdialog macro' button. (make sure that macros are turned on) LO will crash. Note that the first few times I tried this, it didn't crash. Perhaps because I didn't make drastic enough changes when I did 'edit contour'. I can reproduce it every time now though. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
