[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 64455] UI: The color line tool (toolbar Line and Filling ) is not updated
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64455 pierre-yves samyn pierre-yves.sa...@laposte.net changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED Resolution|NOTABUG |--- Keywords||regression --- Comment #3 from pierre-yves samyn pierre-yves.sa...@laposte.net --- Hello, Thank you for your reply We reopen this bug that we (qa-fr list) consider a regression due to the following inconsistencies. 1. Lines do not have applicator button unlike the background color cell tool where you just click to apply. For lines you have to open the list and choose. 2. The spreadsheet tool keeps the last color used even if the current selection has been changed (and displays an other color). For the lines, if the current selection has been modified, the tool displays the color and not the last used. example Calc a. A1 background in yellow b. Click C1 background in green c. Select A1, green is still selected in the tool example Line a. Draw a rectangle, line color yellow b. Draw another rectangle, line color green c. Select the first rectangle, yellow is selected 3. The Area (filling) color is not managed in the same way as the lines. a. Draw a rectangle, filling color yellow, line color green. Keep the rectangle selected then b. Draw another rectangle, green is always selected in line color tool but the fill color is that by default (Tango: sky blue 1 on my configuration). Conclusion: 1. The user can *not* rely on the display of the toolbar. It is a regression. 2. The parallel with cell colors in calc can not be ok because for lines, as shewn in 1, can not apply this color to a new object. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34836 --- Comment #43 from Björgvin Ragnarsson nifgr...@gmail.com --- Julien: This is a bisect which identifies the exact source code commit which introduced the bug. (unlike the bibisect from Joren which identified a range of possible commits) Unfortunately this commit is a huge code import from AOO. I tested AOO 3.4.1 and the bug is present these, so this is not the result of a faulty code import. I have been playing around with the code and I think it's likely that this is a result of the removal of META_RENDERGRAPHIC_ACTION as you mentioned. Here is the AOO commit: http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=revisionrevision=1220836 . I've tried to revert the removal of META_RENDERGRAPHIC_ACTION but it's progressing slowly. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64902 Priority: medium Bug ID: 64902 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Moving columns in tables overwrites content Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: pa...@landau.ws Hardware: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.0.3.3 release Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice This is virtually a duplicate of bug #35570, but it involves columns instead of rows within Writer tables. The wording is the same, bar using column instead of row. Do this within Writer: 1. Create a table of several rows and columns 2. Enter content into all rows 3. Highlight one complete column by click-and-dragging the mouse from the first column to the last 4. Using the mouse, click on that column and drag it to another column What happens: the contents of the column you want to move overwrite the contents of the column you move it to and leave a blank column where you moved it from. What is expected: the column you move should be inserted at the location you drag it to, while all columns between the two locations should be moved left or right, depending on where you are moving from, so that all information is still intact, and no blank columns are left. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 34836] PDF export does not export EPS images
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34836 --- Comment #44 from Michael Meeks michael.me...@novell.com --- Unfortunately this commit is a huge code import from AOO. Right - and as such we cannot revert any part of it without causing severe problems. Of course, we can research the differences that cause this issue and then re-fix the bug; that is not a problem. If you have questions on that please contact me by private mail not in this bug. This bug looks like it is becoming unmanageable - it seems to include lists of un-related issues, it's getting hard to read - which hugely decreases the likelihood that any developer will get to the end and be able to fix this bug. It is the kind of bug that can never be 'fixed' because one of the several sub-branches of the bug will get it re-opened, and everyone ends up un-satisfied. EPS is a subset of postscript that LibreOffice cannot render by itself. We require an external program to convert this to a bitmap - it would be a nice enhancement to fix that so we had an embedded EPS interpreter - however, that is a rather significant enhancement request - it needs splitting into a new bug. Possibly we have (somehow) mangled and reduced the resolution of the pixel image we render as a consequence of including Armins' changes in the re-base. If so, we need to look at the DPI handling around that I imagine - it would be good to pick one of the duplicates that is clean, and swap the order here - make this one a duplicate of that bug - and make that bug a MAB for 4.0 - so we solve it. Rendering EPS requires pstoedit thus: static bool RenderAsEMF(const sal_uInt8* pBuf, sal_uInt32 nBytesRead, Graphic rGraphic) { TempFile aTemp; aTemp.EnableKillingFile(); OUString fileName(pstoedit EXESUFFIX); OUString arg1(-f); OUString arg2(emf:-OO); OUString arg3(-); OUString output; osl::FileBase::getSystemPathFromFileURL(aTemp.GetName(), output); rtl_uString *args[] = { arg1.pData, arg2.pData, arg3.pData, output.pData }; If the program is not in your path - it will not be found. We could of course try to add a series of paths to try in this eventuality but that should be a separate issue. Again. Can I have help from a QA guy to close this issue, spawn several others and get the problems split up nicely !? :-) Thanks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 37130] Insert - Comment uses default system font instead of default Writer font
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37130 --- Comment #12 from bugquestcon...@online.de --- I can confirm the matter on XP Prof/SP3 using Writer Version 4.0.3.3 (Build ID: 0eaa50a932c8f2199a615e1eb30f7ac74279539), portable As the styles in LibO are such a great functionality, I propose to create a style for the ctrl+alt+c comments. Please see also AskLibO discussion http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/17591/how-to-change-default-font-for-alt-ctrl-c-comments/?comment=17960#comment-17960 If I am not mistaken, there are some other bug reports/enhancement request with a similar content. I just can't identify them. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 64924] New: the featur Comments (ctr, everything c). has some problems
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64924 Priority: medium Bug ID: 64924 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: the featur Comments (ctr, everything c). has some problems Severity: enhancement Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: bos-ep...@hotmail.com Hardware: PowerPC Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.0.3.3 release Component: Libreoffice Product: LibreOffice concerning Libre office 4.0.3.3 writing program (writer). Features: Comments (ctr, everything c). has some problems: 1 when you have made a comment and want to use the text from it by copy / paste into a document it comes out as white text, then one must highlight and select the font color. 2 you can not choose the font for all the comments at once but must do it for each comment separately. it would be nice if it could be changed. 3 (and probably the most annoying problem): You can not print it as part of the text. If you want to print the comments you must either choose to have it as a list whereas the line number and page so you have to start counting forward, or get the end of the page as it is called - in fact it means that the comment is printed on one side for themselves and still only with line number as reference. Is it not possible to functionalize it a little so it came to serve as footnotes do - number and bottom of the page (so you do not use a rainforest every time you print one document). even better would be if it could be such that you could choose the reference code - instead of No. 1,2,3 as the footnotes example from Paul, John, Marie ... sincerely Bo -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
