Coloured texts in professional reports are very important, to emphasize special issues, so for me (and other professionals, I hope) this problem is classified as MAJOR. I tried to use again suggestion proposed by 58580 BugID (because I was already informed of) this setting, but results doesn't change. So I open a new bug request, attaching a zip file with very simple .odt file and a PDF file with result of PDF internal conversion. I must indicate that: - same occurs with Writer an Calc components (I didn't test with others); - colours for background (each for single word of full raw or cell) is printed fine (both Calc and Writer), so problem is related to text colour only; - if I underline the text, using normal Ctrl+U key, underlining is coloured, but text not (as you can see in attached PDF); - I tried to print using a PDF printer (Bullzip PDF Printer 7.2.0.1304), but result doesn't change; Last: this bug module push me to correct my hardware characteristics; but entries are too much limited: - hw: AMD64 double dual-processor Opteron - OS: Windows NT x64 edition - SW rel.: LibreOffice Version 4.0.3.3 (Build ID: 0eaa50a932c8f2199a615e1eb30f7ac74279539) Thanks to everybody Piero Cirrottola -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

When fast icon is loaded (soffice.exe soffice.bin) and I execute Writer from Start menu (not from fast icon), it seems loads 4 new instances: 2 soffice.exe, 1 swriter.exe and 1 soffice.bin, but when is executed (relatively fast), removes these new instances from memory. V. 4.0.3.3: the start of applications is very similar to 3.6.6, and the problem of memory is similar too. The difference is that no load 3 instances when fast icon is in memory, load only 1 soffice.bin (removed when application is runned). *Test on WINDOWS v6.x (7 Pro N without antivirus) amd64* All versions has been improved in loading speed than the other versions. It is similar to XP, but only a little bit slow (problem of Windows, sure). The loading instances seems equal. *Installation/Uninstallation* The Windows v6.x is order of 4X SLOWER than XP, but I sure that this problem is by Windows. --- IDEA: The problem of new instances, can resolve with executing a shell that load soffice of memory instead of binary, with the same icons? [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 63407] Linked contents from external source (web page or local file) not updated
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63407 --- Comment #16 from KSN nair.remotelo...@gmail.com --- Hi How is possible to know if this bug has been taken up for development i.e. change and testing? It's been more than 3 months since being reported (bug 61587) and so far there's been only some back and forth. Bug 61587 was closed as RESOLVED since it was made a duplicate of this one. So, where are we in terms of resolution of the real problem i.e. non-updation of external links? The example file given with 61587 shows clearly that the problem can be replicated by changing range names from lower case to Upper case. But that's not going to help people who have many existing worksheets which will suddenly stop working. This is going to hurt Libre Office adoption and it's image. Thanks for providing a quick fix guys.
