Open the document I will attach in a moment. Observe the table with mathemetical formulae. 2. Export the document as XHTML 3. Open the exported .html file in various web browsers and observe. Current behavior: The output only looks correct in Firefox Expected behavior: The output should look correct in any web browser. The output is correct in Firefox, which supports MathML. In other browsers that support MathML, such as Safari and Opera, the formulae are displayed correctly via the MathML. However the fallback dataURL image is also shown, as an empty box in most cases, or as a box with the broken image icon. In browsers which do not support MathML, e.g. Chrome and IE, a pretty bad (incomplete in many cases) text version of the formula is shown together with the same bad dataURL images as noted above. So there are 3 issues: - the fallback dataURL images are broken - the fallback images are shown in some browsers when they shouldn't be. - the plain text version is shown in non-MathML supporting browsers as well as the broken fallback images. I'm not sure why plain text is ever exported. Add a space to the document text. Wait until the automatic recovery save is performed. Save the DOCX file. Once re-opened the images will be missing. METHOD 2: Open an ODT document with an image, save as DOCX format. Export a PDF document, either using the button in the toolbar or the File Export as PDF menu option. Add a space to the document text. Save the DOCX file. Once re-opened the images will be missing. This behaviour occurs when when Save AutoRecovery information is switched off. It should be noted I did not get consistent results with how many images were not displayed. In one of my first tests, all images were removed. In subsequent tests, just the image on the first page was removed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 66205] EDITING: Using F2 makes the text (telephone numbers) to disappear
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66205 Leopoldo Saggin topo...@inwind.it changed: What|Removed |Added Priority|medium |high --- Comment #1 from Leopoldo Saggin topo...@inwind.it --- I performed some more tests: 1. The bug I described in the previous post also appears in a .csv file (not only a .xls) which was imported directly into LO 4.1.0RC1. This excludes the possibility of an incorrect porting of some format features ofthe file from an old versions of LO to this new one, because this .csv was opened directly in LO 4.1.0 RC1. 2. I tried to reproduce the same problem on numeric and (pure) text data cells and I wasn't able to reproduce this bug. So it seems specific for numbers in columns formatted as text. 3. With a new test I could restrict further the condition of this bug. In fact if I fill (not edit, just insert) a cell with a number starting with a '+' followed by digits separated by spaces like one can do when he/she writes some telephone number (for example: +30 049 827-) nothing appears in the cell even if it is present in the formula bar By digiting F2 function key and hitting enter makes it to appear. This happens also if you create a number prefixed with a '-' like -39 049 827-6000 BUT it does not happens if at the beginning of the number there is an asterisk (for example *39 049 827-6000) So + and - seems the causes of the bug.
