[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 66646] EDITING: Paste Special... Add does not treat Empty Cells as zero value

2013-07-07 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66646

--- Comment #2 from rh_li...@bmharding.freeserve.co.uk ---
Not wanting to derail this topic, but it is appropriate to report
display-refresh bugs in the Dev version or should they be expected just because
it's a Dev Build?

(I have an 8000-row spreadsheet using Window/Freeze where the top half, above
the freeze, refreshes but the bottom half doesn't until I scroll, showing, for
example, the last webpage I was viewing before Alt-Tab)

I would like (at least) to be able to paste:
1. Just all Text, Numbers and Date Time.
2. Just the Formats.

In a reproducible (consistent) way without using the mouse. This seems to be
impossible in LibreOffice without using macros or external programs.

Would be glad to see an improvement in this :)

I use version 4.0.3.3 and the problem persist.

When I mark some words, that are underlined as wrong spelling, as ignore or
ignore all, that word is not underlined anymore. But after saving the document
and reopen it, the words are again underlined as wring spelling so I have to
right click and select Ignore or Ignore All again and again...

It is very annoying. Please do something about it.
Thank you

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 66662] New: Other: Autofield is not working for postgresql

2013-07-07 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2

  Priority: medium
Bug ID: 2
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: Other: Autofield is not working for postgresql
  Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
  Reporter: ali.jou...@gmail.com
  Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: 4.0.3.3 release
 Component: Database
   Product: LibreOffice

Steps to reproduce:
if I create a table in postgresql, containing a field with a serial type as
primary key,
and then I used Libreoffice Base with SDBC (postgresql) driver to edit the
table

Current behavior:
first the ID field doesn't show autofield like it used to in previous
versions,
second if I started to enter data and then I moved to another row or blur\lose
focus from the current row, the ID becomes 0

also all the fields with default value (set from the table definition not from
LO base) gets weird values when the row lose focus
e.g if the default value is now() instead of getting 2013-07-07 I get
now() after the row lose focus

the only way to get the real ID and the correct default values is to hit the
refresh button

the real issue is you can't save before you hit refresh (the ID is still 0) and
sometimes you lose all the rows data when you press refresh

Expected behavior:
in previous versions when I open the table the word autofield is written on
the ID field, and when the current row lose focus\or press save the actual ID
shows

and also the default values reflected automatically when the row lose focus
if it was now() when i lose focus the data field becomes 2013-07-07 same
for custom functions

sidenote: before version 4.0.2.2 the ID field used to work fine but the default
values had the same behavior of versions after 4.0.2.2

Operating System: All
Version: 4.0.3.3 release

Hi Jim, thanks for reporting. The period(.) is part of regular expressions, I
think there are two options:
- Disable regular expression in Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/Calculate.
- If you want use regular expressions, put a backslash before the period \. You
can find about it in the help index tab, searching for regular expressions.
Please confirm if this solve your issue.

After reading through ICU regex list[0] again, carefully, I now know that this
is intended.

I still think that this is confusing and should be changed, but this is pretty
much ICU design decision, so pretty much NOTOURBUG.

Have you tried the R4Calc extension? If it is still working (last release was
2008) it should solve your problems via the use of R statistical package.

Of course, it is not an inbuilt data analysis toolkit.

Hi Jacques

I don't understand the test Tried also to put on Sheet2 column B from
composants.ods and updated links. What's the interest ?

I tried the version LO 4.1.0.1. The links with composants.ods file lasts only 3
mn (very good). But when I close the links window and in the file menu, I
records the file, I wait, I wait, infinitely ... and why ? There is no link
with another file at this moment. In the Administrator of spots Windows, the
processor ratio is equal to 57% and the green scroll bar is stopped at mid-term
(file record).

Best regards

Sometimes when I'm starting LO calc with one of my .ods files it freezes. I
found that I can get it to work again by stopping the windows process
splwow64.exe. When I do that, calc resumes it's normal work and everything is
ok. Splwow64.exe is a print spooler service for 32 bit programs. After stopping
it, windows starts it again immediately but calc works.

I can confirm reproducible on LO 4.0.4.2 (Win7 32bit).

Column width incorrectly loaded if cell A2 'Scientific' formatted, while the
other cells is 'Number' Standard Format.
But in Bug 59820 that happens even all cell A 'Number' Standard formatted. So
possibly it's a duplicate to that bug.
