[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72722] New: Clicking on files in the file browser causes their modified dates to be changed
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72722 Priority: medium Bug ID: 72722 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Clicking on files in the file browser causes their modified dates to be changed Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Mac OS X (All) Reporter: dhgutteri...@hotmail.com Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) Status: NEW Version: 4.2.0.0.beta2 Component: Libreoffice Product: LibreOffice In LibreOffice 4.2.0.0.beta2 (Build ID: 1a27be92e320f97c20d581a69ef1c8b99ea9885d), if I single click on any editable file using the file browser, it immediately updates the modified date of the file, despite the fact that not only have I not modified it, I haven't even opened it yet! This is troublesome for workflows (i.e. mine) where the modified date of the file is significant. Steps to reproduce: (1) Click on the file open button. (2) Navigate to a directory where there's a file you'd like to open. (3) Single-click on the file. Note that the modification date of the file changes as you do so. (4) Confirm via the underlying OS tools (e.g. Finder) that the modification date has indeed been updated, even though you did nothing to the file. This is a regression from 4.1.3 and 4.1.4RC2. It appears this is caused by LibreOffice adding a MacOS ResourceFork that wasn't previously present in the file. I have no idea why it would be doing that when a user merely clicks on the file name (presumably LibreOffice examines the file immediately and adds extended attributes to it), but if it's by design it's rather ill-advised... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 59288] FORMATTING: Copying conditional formatting
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59288 --- Comment #10 from kouka...@gmail.com --- I confirm the problem. It started happening with LO 4.0 , also confirmed in LO 4.1.3.2 Linux. There is always an error when pasting-special formatting only, and there is an error when pasting cell with conditional formatting. What happens is that the formatting is pasted to a custom cell but not the one pasted. I found many duplicates of this bug. It practically means no conditional formatting until fixed. This thing is really annoying, I consider it critical. I previously managed to reproduce bug 39484 which led to resolution. I am willing again to try hard to deal with this one. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 69761] Fonts Lost / Not Available
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69761 --- Comment #5 from Owen Genat --- (In reply to comment #4) > If I open ... and look for "myriad pro cond" in the fonts section I only see > "myriad pro". If I then open the test docx file I see the font myriad pro > cond. This behaviour is normal. The initial pull-down font name list shows the available fonts (i.e., no condensed version is available). Once the document is loaded and the cursor placed on the text the name of the used font will display i.e., the condensed version. Usually if the used font is unavailable it will be set in italics in the font name field and font substitution occurs in the document. I created a few samples with he latest stable of LO (4.1.3) but the behavior is the same. If i copy a graph with data series in rows to writer the graph will not be rendered correctly, also opening the .odt file created in 4.1.3 with an earlier version of LO (4.0.6) will produce the same rendering even if pasteing the chart into text files in this version (4.0.6) works as expected. I will attach the ods and odt files created in LO 4.1.3 and the odt file as a pdf too, to illustrate the graph what i get. When you start the same form in beta1 or all other versions you get different rows at the bottom, when you change the number for the record above. As you see it first connects 5 rows to the data of the mainform. When you have reached "New row" and go back it connects 2 (other) rows. Don't know where to get a build with the patch for bug72463. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72696 --- Comment #4 from rob...@familiegrosskopf.de --- (In reply to comment #3) Hi Julien, > I just some 5 fields + a form with rows. Is this last one the main or the > subform but anyway, where's the other form? There is a table-control in the form - a form with rows, as you call it. This is the main-form. The content of the tablecontrol changes, when you change the row of the mainform. The following will only work when you have changed the form as I described in Comment1. Put the cursor in "Transaction No.". At the bottom of the form you would see "Row 1 from 4". In the tablecontrol you see 5 rows. Now go to next row in the navigationbar, which shows "Row 1 from 4". The content from the whole form has to be changed. You could see 2 rows in the tablecontrol. When you do this with LO 4.1.0.0beta2 the content of the tablecontrol wouldn't be changed - shows for every row of the mainform the same content. If you wish to post PNG files, please attach them directly and each one separately. But better than picture files would be to copy-and-paste the text that you get in your file into this Bugzilla text field. Or do you then get a different result? It is not entirely clear to me what you type in, because the parenthesis.png file shows shows two lines containing "f(x", and the second one seems correct -- how did you obtain that one? And the digits.png file shows three lines, and each seems to say "4 kilograms", not "40 kilograms" as you say in your report. The "Complex script" in the bug title is not very accurate -- please consider changing it to "CTL" or "Complex Text Layout". Anyway... Isn't this bug a duplicate of bug #61795?
