[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 55833] Lacking support for KDE 4.x addressbooks (akonadi)
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55833 --- Comment #3 from Martin Tlustos --- Issue is still there in LO 4.1.3.2 from the Ubuntu repos. The problem is that addressbooks can be local files (vcf format), caldav ressources or google addressbooks, and different people use different ones as their standard addressbook (I use google). So the easiest way to implement all of them would probably be to write a connector to akonadi. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 46635] FILESAVE Endless loop during autosave
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46635 --- Comment #27 from cleyfaye...@gmail.com --- Regarding the issue described in the previous comment, I did the following test in a different environment: As a quick test on my current computer (Windows 7 64Bit, LO 4.1.4.2) I did this: - Set autosave to 1 minute - Check the "save document too" option - Open a new blank writer document - Type a few words - Wait a minute. It created an untitled_1.odt file in the backup directory, and nothing else - Typed a few more words - After a while, the backup file updated. No extra files where created, and LO doesn't seem to go crazy with I/O either. Either this issue depend on some specific settings/situations, or it is platform dependant. Additionnaly, on a Debian system (with only LO 4.1.3.2) I observe the same behavior: a single file named untitled_0.odt is created, and is only updated every minutes or so. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Believe this relates to work done to integrate IAccessible2 as alternative to Java Access Bridge for assistive technology tools support. In tweaking things, in the 4.2.0 builds, Java is set active to support Java Access Bridge by default, and the Tools --> Options --> Accessibility "Support assistive technology" is checked active. Having the JAB based assistive technology support is of mixed benefit, simplifies things for folks using an AT, but it imposes JRE overhead of running the JAB. Andras's past work on bug 39833 is no longer being honored. Of course in current builds of master this is mute-as the JAB based support for AT has been removed and the native IAccessible2 support only activates when an AT is detected active. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

In tweaking things, in the 4.2.0 builds, Java is set active to support Java Access Bridge by default, and the Tools --> Options --> Accessibility "Support assistive technology" is checked active. Both the Accessibility support, and the Tools -> Options -> Advanced "Use a Java runtime environment" checkbox can be unchecked, if there are no remaining JRE based extensions. E.g. a default installation include the Java based extension for Calc - Non-linear Problem Solver. On restart it will come up cleanly. Unfortunately to clear the multiple JRE required windows you have to kill the soffice.bin process tree (from Task manager) and then delete at least the "registrymodifications.xcu" from the user profile--or simply delete the user profile, and allow it to be rebuilt with default. Allow LibreOffice to launch once with defaults -- including activation of the JRE. The open Tools --> Options --> Accessibility and uncheck "support assistive technology", and also Tools --> Options --> Advanced and uncheck "Use a Java runtime environment". Exit from LibreOffice. Launch again and should come up with no JRE support running. Selected a table from it from the dropdown menu below "Table" 5. Selected a "Database field" 6. Chose a "Brand" (I decided to use "Avery A4") 7. Chose a "Type" ("C2160 Avery Inkjet Label") 8. Clicked on "New Document" After I freshly installed the above mentioned version, I got a window, where I could choose between business and private labels. Then this empty Writer document without any text in it opened, but only the frames of labels were visible. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 73329] StartCenter does not display Personas font colours
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=73329 --- Comment #4 from Peter Maunder --- On further testing, I found that although the Start Center does not initially display the font colour, and any subsequent screen invoked by the Start Center, for example Writer or Calc, you can force the display of colour for the current Start Center session. Remove the current Personas: Tools > options > personalization > Plain look do not use themes, > OK and then Tool > options > Personalization > Own theme > OK. This will restore the font colour to that set in the registrymodifications.xcu file. Restarting LibO with Start Center one needs to repeat the process to display the Font Colour. Writer, Calc etc. invoked directly always displays the Personas font colour directly. Hope this helps ..
