https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74644 --- Comment #7 from Edward M. Grant bugzi...@edwardmgrant.com --- If it's any help, I found a Redhat bug related to the Cardo font: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1000691 Changing the OS/2 metrics in the font to the values specified there cured this problem. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 75067] New: Auto-filter gets confused in a recovered spreadsheet
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75067 Priority: medium Bug ID: 75067 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Auto-filter gets confused in a recovered spreadsheet Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Mac OS X (All) Reporter: jdash...@ashtonfam.org Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.2.0.4 release Component: Spreadsheet Product: LibreOffice After a Calc freeze (caused by trying to Remove Formatting in a different file containing Asian characters), I recovered a spreadsheet containing about 1,400 rows of data. I had been using auto-filter, and the correct three rows were being displayed. However, the drop-downs over each column were no longer filtered correctly for the visible lines: all values were visible in every column's drop-down, even though the AutoFilter item in the menu was still checked. To resolve this, I did another Cmd-A (Select All) and Data - Filter - AutoFilter, after which I reselected the filter criteria in the key columns, after which the other columns' drop-downs showed only the expected values. Bonus bug: after recovering and opening two spreadsheets, keystrokes (like Cmd-A) may go to the bottom, hidden spreadsheet instead of to the top, visible spreadsheet, even when it has been clicked-in. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75069 --- Comment #1 from Daniel Ashton jdash...@ashtonfam.org --- The same symptoms result if you try to paste the formatting from an adjacent cell into one of these cells. Specifically, I used the formula bar to copy the text of the link, then deleted the link from the cell. I then use Edit - Paste Special to paste the text as unformatted text (not RTF). You can click on the corresponding spin-box (or scroll with the middle mouse button) to achieve the same result. 3) Two buttons: Increase Spacing, Decrease Spacing. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 75046] New: PRINTING Prints off page beyond bottom margin when a row break is in hidden rows
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75046 Priority: medium Bug ID: 75046 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: PRINTING Prints off page beyond bottom margin when a row break is in hidden rows Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: lo.sever...@spamgourmet.com Hardware: x86 (IA32) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.1.4.2 release Component: Spreadsheet Product: LibreOffice LO Calc 4.1.4.2 May be related to Bug 64703 The problem occurs when a ROW BREAK is inside hidden rows. Whether the rows are hidden manually or by a filter doesn't matter. Steps to reproduce. New Spreadsheet Fill A1:A100 with any printable value, enough to make 2 printable pages. Select Row 10, Insert, Page Break, Row Break Hit print preview to see expected result: Multi page print with pages correctly formatted between bottom and top margin. The first page is short. Hide rows 2-12. The ROW BREAK is now hidden. Hit print preview Unexpected result: One page print which goes past the bottom margin off the page. Expected result: Multi page print with pages correctly formatted between top and bottom margin. Note: Print Preview, Print Dialog Preview, Print, and Export to PDF are affected. Note: When the bug is activated the print preview screen takes noticeably longer to produce a complete preview. This slow painting can be seen on an i3 based Celeron G530 when the page is set to Landscape and a many column spreadsheet fills the entire preview with text. Another bug: Show all rows. Hide rows 2-9. Now the row break is at the top of the visible rows. Format, Print Ranges, Edit, User Defined, Rows to Repeat: $1 Unexpected result: The first page prints a single line of text consisting of the header row with a blank page underneath. Expected result: The first page should have printed text below the header row. The header row should only print when there is printable data following it. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74675 --- Comment #4 from Pepino pepino.esc...@gmx.de --- (In reply to comment #3) (In reply to comment #2) (In reply to comment #1) was a clean new install or did you overinstall the 4.2.0 on top of a previous LibO release? I installed over a previous LibO, 4.1.4. Should I de- and re-install? you could try and see if it solves the issue. basically you are saying that double clicking on an .odt file doesn't open it in LibO? what exactly happens when you do so? Now I de-installed LibO 4.2.0 and tried to re-Install. I tried 3 times: The installation stopped without success an without changing the system. After that, I installed the 4.1.4 version and everything is o.k. Then I installed the new 4.1.5 version over the 4.1.4, and it is still o.k. So, I think I will keep that version. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40594 --- Comment #39 from Luke lukebe...@hotmail.com --- @tommy27 I've worked on several other projects, and it's always been my experience that when a feature is not supported, either the original report is used until all of the test cases are working OR associated cases are reopened. It is TDF’s policy to require new reports for failed test after the feature is only partially implemented? If you're going to use this bug to close other reports, shouldn't those reports be working? So when a feature is not implemented, reporters should always use in the title, implemented it perfectly or they will have to keep filing bug reports during the development cycle. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75052 Priority: medium Bug ID: 75052 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Queries not always returning any data Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux (All) Reporter: t...@tim-passingham.co.uk Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.2.0.4 release Component: Database Product: LibreOffice I have a Base application that I've been using for 2 or more years. It has a number of dialogues that allow me to enter search data that selects data in queries to be returned in forms. Recently the queries appear to be randomly returning no data at all for the first few attempts, and then working again using the same search criteria. This has never happened before. I think it is somewhat worse when I use shorter abbreviations (to which * is appended). I'm on ubuntu 13.10, 64 bit, MariaDB 10.0.8. Using MySql(Native) and MySql(JDBC) (I have tried both - the Native version seems a bit worse if anything). It looks like some for of timeout or caching problem, but I can't reproduce the problem consistently enough to be sure where the problem is. I have failed to get any errors querying using phpMyAdmin, but can't be entirely sure the problem is in Base. I am not even sure when the problem first started, since I hadn't use the application for a few weeks. It may be related to the recent LO version, or to a MariaDB update. I'm reporting this in the hope someone else is having similar query problems with this version of Base.
